The men’s games yesterday and today were scheduled at 12, 2:30, 5 and 7:30.

Today’s Womens games are at:
2 at 12pm
1 at 12:30pm
2 at 1:00pm
2 at 2:00pm
1 at 2:30pm

8 games scheduled within a 2 1/2 hours.

So a fan of the men’s games can see all games live with no issues. For the women - not so much.

Just ridiculous.
Talk to the coaches. They are in drivers seat.

Not really sure how the coaches are in the driver's seat with scheduling games with ESPN and the NCAA

Let me put this in simple terms for everyone…

First and second round game times are picked by coaches. NCAA has guidelines only but coaches decide - ESPN DOES NOT DECIDE). For quarters, they always used to be streaming and coaches picked those times also, and they would overlap leading to Taylor Cummings and company whining about it to ESPN/NCAA. Again, it was the coaches decision. Finally coaches made concession that in order to get games on LINEAR (EspnU), they would have to play on Thursday as other slots were not available (MLax/Baseball/Softball). So that is why we are on a Thursday.

Time to move Quarters to neutral site…you know, like the men. 2 games in a hotbed will draw big $$. Beats what happened today.

Schools will fight that in a big way.

1) Takes away home field advantage for higher seeds
2) Increasing travel expenses. Now 8 teams have to travel instead of 4.

As long as 3 of the games are before school gets out, attendance won't be meaningfully better no matter where you play it.
