If I saw this commercial once I saw it hundreds of times when I was a kid watching NFL football on Sunday afternoons--waaaay before there was such a thing as Sunday Night Football.

I seem to recall him talking about this commercial, something like it took multiple takes because he kept burping.Brooklyn wrote: ↑Thu Mar 03, 2022 10:39 am https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xffOCZY ... stiggerpao
"Mean Joe & the Kid"
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

I remember that, too. For some reason the director did not like the initial outcome and demanded 18 takes of the drinking scene.
Poor Mean Joe was forced to drink 18 bottles! D@mn ~ drinking all that would have ripped my belly apart. Small wonder why he kept burping!

First time I ever saw that product. Never was sold in NYC ~ I wonder if they were tasty or pricey.

Deviled Ham sounds like something they would offer at the JHU cafeteria.
Be in their flowing cups freshly rememb'red.

Here is a medley of old commercials:
Drawn from the 60s and 70s. First one is local to Flint, MI (where I grew up) from a local potato chip company. I actually toured their factory as a kid...
