Generally, my TV stays off until it's the news hour or until there is some major sports event.
After watching the Rangers loss online, I went over to You Tube and watched this old gem:

My fave episode of "Our Gang". Hadn't seen this gem in a long while. Also did not realize this was Tubby, not Chubby whose work helped the Gang vs the Slickers. Sadly, Chubby (my fave member of the Gang) was likely gone by this time. But he like the rest of the troupe will live on in our hearts.

Can you recognize the angry cook at the left of this photo?
This scene was deleted from the final release of the Stooges' "Malice In the Palace" (1949).

Looks kinda like Jim Backus with a fake 'stache.
Re: Funniest TV Shows, Now and Then
At first I thought that was Emil Sitka or Jim Backus but, no, it was not either of them.
Please give it another shot.

Re: Funniest TV Shows, Now and Then
Well, nobody guessed that the angry cook was none other than Curly Howard in his final role. He came back from illness (he had considerable weight loss which is quite evident in the pic) but the director thought the scene wasn't any good and it was cut from the final production. Darn - would have given anything to see it.

Why is the girl in the middle trying to hold back her laughter?
It is because the Stooges are being funny or something else?

here's the answer: she's laughing and hiding her lips because Moe planted an actual kiss on her lips. She is trying to laugh it off but he caught her with a good one.
