Re: TV Broadcasts/Announcers/Production

No, Anish, it's not the equator, it's the midfield line. equator: 1 : the great circle of the celestial sphere whose plane is perpendicular to the axis of the earth 2 : a great circle of the earth or a celestial body that is everywhere equally distant from the two poles and divides the surface into ...

Cuse-Navy in '04. Epic battle, intensity level off the charts.

Re: Transfer Portal 2024

I hate the transfer portal. While I feel as if players should have the option to transfer, I don't like what it does to and for teams, it just feels wrong on a couple of different levels (yes, work hard, young freshman, and you'll see the field....well, unless we bring in a senior AA transfer). Coac...

Not the only place outstanding lacrosse players have played but we fans in Cuse have been mighty lucky to watch some of the best of the best to play the game here over the years. Mikey was sure one of them.

October 1996 https://www.science.org/content/article/nicotine-and-alzheimers Would be interesting to see the # of covid deaths in smokers and non-smokers, see if there's any truth to what's been said. Yup, I smoke, and my unvaccinated self is still alive despite being up there on the high risk list...

Re: Semifinal Two -- Syracuse v. BC

Bitter sweet day, we get to see this year's creme de la creme play today, four teams still standing, down to two at day's end.
The two survivors play for the Crown on Sunday, then there's no more college wlax to watch for a looong time. That's a bummer
(looking forward to AU though). Enjoy.

Re: Semifinal One -- Florida v. NU

Gotta keep your eyes on Emily Heller, she's a pretty good scorer. Really have no idea whether or not Florida can hang with the dynamics of Northwestern. Have seen little of the Gators but what I've seen left me with the impression they're pretty good. Good enough to outdo them Wildcats.....not think...

He's doing great, as if nothing ever happened....very lucky boy. Thanks for asking. Can't think of any German practices that bring good luck. Hell, they even sacrifice the rabbit's foot for hasenpfeffer. Don't have my boy Alfie (RIP) to check in with for some dances either, got nothing there (I call...

Re: Semifinal Two -- Syracuse v. BC

So I am working overtime: lighting candles, prayers to the Sky Man with Beard, getting a rabbit's foot, wasting some salt over my shoulder, trying out rally cap configurations. What else can I do? I dunno but I'm going out to get a corned beef brisket today. Oh, and kissing the nose of a black lab ...

Re: TV Broadcasts/Announcers/Production

Carc is nails on the chalkboard for me. He ruins watching games for me so my solution is to mute the sound. I cannot stand listening to him. He's a tool and I cannot believe he is still broadcasting. How has he not been removed from ALL broadcasts yet forever?! Key words there are "for me"...

Nice, no doubt it works. Am thawing out some salmon right now will give him a hunk. People will spend a fortune on their dogs, that stuff's not so cheap (think it will last a while though). I got some ear drops for this guy too (Zymox) to the tune of $55, does work like a champ though (that'll last ...

The big boy's back in town. Gramps has got his coat looking all nice and shiny, the fifteen dollar oatmeal, aloe, and lavender shampoo really does the job. ... Carter Rice was very very good this year... rice stood out and not because he's great but because he's a decent-sized body with good (not great) legs. Just struck me as strange. You need to throw an IMO in there because I certainly don't agree with that. Rice stood out because he's good and ver...

Re: QF #4 Syracuse vs #5 Denver Sunday @ noon

What struck me the most is that Syracuse came out from the opening moment lifeless, no fire, no sense of the day, or sense of urgency. Lackadaisical trotting, lazy passing, way too slow to set up, way too sloppy play. Cuse has enough talent to have won the game (ND will have little difficulty with D...
