Re: Johns Hopkins 2024
This guy wouldn’t know good lacrosse if it smacked him in his TDS face. Surprised he has anyone who would consider him knowledgeable on any subject based off his bat turd crazy, non sensical twitter posts (which consists mostly of clinton love letters (you know the woman who effed up Bengazi and kil...

Re: Coaches Fired for Cause
Guess we aren't getting into Morgan fired because a kid said something stupid we do have a thread for that. any real information is appreciated. nothing to add, just a general feeling of disgust You’re gonna need to present factual reasons (based on confirmed reporting of specific statements) in or...

Re: Be better Merrimack
And before folks get all up in arms, just remember we are still waiting for an apology and retraction from the PLL and its various ‘stars’ on the fake outrage it campaigned on just a couple short years ago https://www.si.com/lacrosse/2021/09/17/lacrosse-and-canadas-cultural-reckoning-daily-cover htt...

Re: Be better Merrimack
So Morgan resigned. People happy about that or not? Feels very Pressler like. Not saying it didnt happen. Howver, i thought we maybe learned from the fake BYU womens’s basketball ‘situation.’ https://www.outkick.com/analysis/byu-duke-volleyball-racism-allegations-fall-apart-but-dont-expect-apologie...

Re: Brown 2024
Third one-goal loss in a row to Harvard. Good effort by both teams in a meaningless game. All-Ivy is decided by numbers just in league games, correct? Wonder who. Should be some HMs at least. Who does the voting? What's next for the program? I've heard the 2024 class is good; plenty of 4*s. Questio...

Re: Coaching Carousel 2024
Mike Daley is undoubtedly the worst coach in division one Lacrosse. He has very limited knowledge of the game and relies on his assistant coaches. It is a complete fluke that he became a division one coach in the first place and for the good of Brown lacrosse, he needs to go! Nick Meyers is a compl...

Any predictions for the season? I would imagine UPenn and Pton are the favorites again. But curious if anyone has some in depth predictions?

Re: Ivy League 2022
I don't know if anyone cares, but there was a bit of a social media tweet storm over the weekend regarding the Harvard vs Princeton OT football game. In brief, Harvard scored to win the game in a series of 2 point conversion plays. The play was called back in error, and eventually, Princeton won 18...

Re: Cornell 2022
Joe Tsai is an incredible benefactor to the sport. Between Yale, the PLL, the San Diego Seals, the (West Coast) Hill Academy and several international lacrosse programs (I'm sure that there are other projects that I am overlooking), his support has been incredible. As to the Indoor facility, I have...

Re: What is the role of this Forum(Posters) when it comes to Athletes?
I’ve heard this argument before and I’ve always found it a bit curious. If we were talking about under-18 HS players that would seem more reasonable. But these are adults... So I am curious if you could elaborate on why players can’t be criticized. Howdyyall, FWIW, we had this discussion a while ba...

Re: What is the role of this Forum(Posters) when it comes to Athletes?
Criticizing players should be off limits. They are not pros. You want to question the school, conference, officials or coaches…….fine. I’ve heard this argument before and I’ve always found it a bit curious. If we were talking about under-18 HS players that would seem more reasonable. But these are ...

Re: What is the role of this Forum(Posters) when it comes to Athletes?
I think commenting on why players transfer leads to a lot of speculation and negative discussion (as fourtyfive said). The majority of us don't know why individual players make very individual decisions. Discussing why that wouldn't be the choice we/our child would make is ok territory. The - she i...
