Re: Coaches Fired for Cause

This is a ridiculous post - admin should have it removed. not to mention starsia doesn't even belong in the thread topic. from the o.p. but he tells me he doesn't engage in back and forths. What exactly is your objection that you wish to engage? Let’s start with the fact that you misquoted my post....

Tough way to start the season - Ughh! I'm going to chalk it up to the late Ivy League start. Let's have a great week of practice and let's re-group. Coaches need to step it up and players need to make it happen.
[/quote]

Uh, that week of practice is condensed to two days. BU on Tuesday.

Re: IL's Top 50 Men's College Lacrosse Players For 2024

Right. Spallina has had one year. I think he will have a great career but he hasn't yet. Scott has. 75 points on a final four team is monster year. He tied the all time goals record in a single NCAA tourney game . He tied the season goal tally at Rutgers in a program over 100 years old. Can Spallin...

I loved David Evans.
Well-rounded game.
Absolute Beast.

I agree he's in the discussion.

Re: Best player in your schools history

Brown's Darren Lowe & Dylan Molloy have the most props. I never saw Lowe play. There are also some guys besides Lowe from the Starsia years. Any nominees? Or from Stevenson's years as coach? Lowe was excellent, but I think I'd have to go with Malloy for players I have seen. Cliff Stevenson was ...

Re: Bryant at Hopkins

In the fun fact department, Bryant was originally situated adjacent to Brown on Providence's East Side. In the early 70s, Bryant sold its campus to Brown and moved to Smithfield. It's a different vibe than the East Side, but Bryant has done a good job developing the campus and has excellent faciliti...

He hasn't seen a real, as in live, game in decades. Take whatever he posts as such.

The 18-2 predicted Utah victory over ND was a joke.

Seriously, what is wrong with you people?

Re: Bryant at Hopkins

I haven’t seen a full Bryant game this year. Vastly improved since last year, the Jays should advance at Homewood. But then there was that game in the Dome a few years ago. Bulldogs also took UVA to the wire at Klockner in 2021. Can the Bulldogs pull the upset at my favorite venue? On to Utah, who ...

Re: Brown 2023

If I were still playing goal, I would lobby hard for no 7:00 p.m. games after the time change. Play at 3:00 p.m. like the old days. The lighting during the first half was really flat and both keepers seemed to struggle seeing the ball until it got completely dark. I was impressed by Bryant's ball mo...

Re: Ivy League 2023

Hard to add any color on why Trey Taylor was singled out. The Bears have been using three primary defensemen since game 1, when Oscar Hertz was injured: Taylor, a freshman from Taft; Mark Witt, a junior from Andover, and Tyler Blackburn, a sophomore from Torey Pines. They have continued to improve a...
