Is DMac the 1st Brown grad w a natty as a player? Any previous transfers win?

There are lots more questions. When is he hiring ACs? He stated in the Zoom welcome call that his preference would be to bring his guys here but is that even possible? Is there anyone in the portal worth going after? Doesn't seem so. How do they handle summer recruiting season? Counselor stated all of the recruits are still committed. Is the Providence real estate market really that tight?

Pvd housing is an overflow mkt for Boston real estate. Everything south of Boston (and north I assume) along I95 I495 is inflated by people priced out of the Boston & immediate suburb market using the interstates and regional rail to commute.

I believe all of the commitments are staying. General consensus is everybody’s been blown away by the new head coach so far he’s been very communicative with the recruits and the parents - a rarity.

Hearing there will be a strong High Point presence on staff especially on the end of the field where the Bears struggled last year. Big name stepping into the OC role…

I'm guessing you could be alluding to Wisnauskas as his name has been taken down off the HPU Coach page as well as Torpey and Broschart.

If so, I def think he's too young, but since I'm usually wrong, this is great! If it happens, there will be more eyes than usual on the program.

Logan W - 25- is mature beyond his age - T Award winner….Academic Big 10……elite athlete ….Denver Outlaws….lacrosse smart….competitor….will provide the model the bears need…..can relate ……serious ….Md product ….Tillman tutelage can’t be beat….can lead by example…..can develop players by demonstrating…..can enhance the Brown State ethos as he lived it with the Terps…….better be in shape in September to deal with his expectations……no falls off…..will engender respect …much faith placed in him by Coach Torpey…..will raise thresholds of acceptability ……

I think it's a strong move -- Torpey has plenty of gravitas as the HC and the young PLL-playing, recent college star (Buczek, Bernhardt, Garnsey) is a pretty positive trend.

Wisnauskas earns the most prestigious award in college lacrosse after a 61 goal, 42 assist, 103 point season that ended with an NCAA Championship. The leader of a historic Maryland offense
— but presume he is not defensive coordinator? If not has head coach named one already?

No problem in replacing this recruit ….opens a spot for Torpey and Wisnauskas to fill with a kid truly wanting a reinvigorated Brown program under a new and dynamic coaching staff having at its disposal a state of the art field house to be completed in the fall of ‘25……
