Will be interesting to see how this list tracks with the Tewaaraton finalists which are supposed to be announced today.

Looking at the draft class and the seniors/grad players, who are we missing?
Here are some notable names in my opinion missing (yes I know not everyone can be drafted or players may not want to play AU)

Cuse: Katie Goodale, Delaney Sweitzer
Duke: Katie DeSimone, Caroline DeBellis
Notre Dame: Kasey Choma, Madison Ahern
Maryland: Shaylan Ahearn,
UNC: Olivia Dirks, Emily Nalls
Northwestern: Molly Laliberty, Jane Hansen, Dylan Amonte
Florida: Emily Heller, Maggi Hall

It's hard to tell who is taking an extra year versus just didn't make the draft..

Any idea how this worked? Did the players express interest in playing before the draft and therefore will definitely be playing this summer? Or are they drafted and then approached about their interest in playing?

How about Delaware defender Madison Hranicka? Causes turnovers like you read about.

Players are drafted. They have a certain amount of time to either sign contract or turn down the spot .

Players are drafted. They have a certain amount of time to either sign contract or turn down the spot .

Most players let the league know they want to play.

I think a lot of the UNC seniors are going to take the grad year in order to redeem themselves.

CW is done. She used up her four years. Casey has one more year since she redshirted. Don’t know if she intends to use it. Pretty sure Nalls is done unless she had an injury I’m not remembering.

The majority of college seniors do not have an extra year. That Covid bonus ended with the 2019 unless you redshirted. I will say the landscape of college lacrosse is going to look much different. It’s been four years of having grad students play and use that bonus, some people argued it wasn’t fair and some people loved getting to watch them for another year. It definitely changed the landscape of the game but back to old school now for the most part.
