Friday Afternoon & Evening Games For Visiting Teams After Travel

Post by gymman1031 »

In my opinion, Friday afternoon and evening games create some of the most difficult situations for visiting teams who have to travel for multiple hours:

-They are coming off a hard week of classes, studying, and practice-Yes, the home team is, too, but:
-They have just traveled a distance.
-Upon arrival, they don't have much time to get settled.

Teams arrive the night before the game I believe. Have all day to get ready for the game.

Yeah, a Friday afternoon game schedule can easily look like:

Thursday: Practice at home. Load the bus. Food before and/or after, depends on the time and distance. Team meeting before bed.
Friday: Breakfast. Shoot around. Pregame meal. Pregame meeting. Warm-up and Game. Food. Load bus & return.

How many Friday games are there?

Is it certainly not harder than a Tues/Weds game. At least they don’t have classes whenever they get home.
