So the kick-off weekend has a few nice games:

Today:

Duke v. Navy
UVA v. Liberty
UMass v. BC
Maryland v. St. Joe's
USC v. Army West Point

Tomorrow:

UNC v. JMU
Florida v. Loyola

No predictions, mostly because I just don't know how several of these teams will sort out this year. I do think, even with injuries, UNC will be good and will beat JMU. My plate of crow awaits.

Kinda surprised to see Lindenwood put a beat down on San Diego State.

Lindenwood clearly much improved. SDSU looks like they couldn't beat a good high school team. Not sure what happened there.

High assist % is a known commodity for TM offensive squads. He runs the 3-man games on both high elbows (courtesy of Jamie Munro) and leads to lots of assisted goals. Was that way at ASU as well.

14-9 final hop… Jhu looked sloppy—but athletic in transition. Their zone defense needs a some tightening!!. Katie pascale for Albany is tremendous…but she can’t do everything and the falloff beneath her in terms of talent is not small…. First game behind both teams.

Duke losing 2-6 to Navy; I think Duke is looking forward to a desultory year.
