York vs. RPI is a great barometer for these programs. Both should be strong but how strong?

RPI York looks like a good matchup. RPI seemed to get stronger as the season went on last year. York lost a lot of talent that will be replaced with younger players.

MW RMC looks like a good matchup also.

York V. RPI is easily the best game this weekend. 2 very talented teams who have gotten a bit of preseason hype. My guy says York but RPI is known to play teams tough.

CNU vs. HSC has an average score of 16-7 over the last 3 matchups in favor of the Captains. CNU returns basically everyone and HSC loses some key pieces. The Tigers will come out in some sort of zone at first to stifle the Captains before they eventually rattle off a big run. Don’t see this one being close.

In terms of pound for pound matchups, Randolph Macon and UMW may actually be a great game. Both teams are even and I can see it being a 1 or 2 goal game.

Definitely the 2 best matchups of the week.

York/RPI should be a good game with 2 fairly even teams. Great early season game. I think York wins by 2-3.

RMC/MW game might be the most even matchup of the weekend. RMC has been on a steady rise, but MW has had recent success against them, and apparently had a good scrimmage against HSC. Expect a very close one. RMC by 1

It’s early season so it’s all a guess, but obviously the teams that can minimize the typical early season offensive sloppiness should win these games.

I was close to saying UMW vs RMC.
I agree with what others said about it being a balanced matchup.
But here's to hoping RMC continues to trend upward and make the ODAC more competitive

York vs RPI will be a great game. I got York winning in a close one. They got a couple good transfers one actually being Keogh who played at UMW. Think RMC will continue that upward trend and win in a close game. UMW lost its big time leading scorer in Nozemack along with Keogh.
