It’s funny u say that because I actually was going to say how Yale should complain about being behind Denver. They went to Denver and beat them on there turf and dominated every facet of the game. Talk about a team being penalized early in the yr for blowing a fourth quarter lead against Penn st. I think as the first place team in the ivy with only two loses they should be way higher

Defense leaves much to be desired and a 16-12 win over 4-8 Hofstra today isn’t exactly awe inspiring. I don’t think #8 is very far off the mark.

Disagree on the pedantic comment. College lax fans have about 4 months to debate issues based on actual performance. These polls matter because right now every team still has a chance and everyone can stay involved. The final poll doesn't matter because it will already be settled on the field. North Carolina was not voted #1 in 2016 because they were the best team from February to April. This poll is about being a fan and enjoying the season; there's nothing pedantic about that (unless you hate sports).

I mean, Keno for the mic drop 😂

I have a suggestion: if anyone here doesn’t like polls or appreciates JoeWillie’s effort and time, how about just not commenting? It’s really not that difficult to avoid conversations where your only input is being the rain at the picnic.

Polls are fun. They ain’t science. And 2024 has been a beast in not assisting anyone who makes them. The irony I see is JoeWillie is the only pollster who I think shows zero bias, plus actually looks at games and not his Twitter follower count (ahem IL Media poll…), and didn’t get paid! But his are pretty darn good.
Yo you have to be around longer. Joe Willie brags about his biases. And I’m all for it! He lets his freak flag fly for every jets game wheee he sits on his couch wearing nothing but a replica of the FUR coat Joe Namath rocked back

I loved JoeWillie when he wore that roadkill coat. Then he started wearing his WHITE spikes. The dude was so far ahead of his time.

Whenever I attend a Cornell Lax game at the KOPF, I always have my Namath Jersey on as that is my ultimate good luck charm. 6-0 this year.

I hope I can make the Harvard game this Saturday as I have another function but hopefully it's done by noon.

JoeWillie was a heck of a Lax player. Little known fact about Joe. Had his choice of playing football at Alabama or Lax at Cornell. Sadly chose Alabama.

When you saw him first time in the white cleats did you have a rag, toilet power or an old dirty sock nearby? Just ask int because of that couch you sold me back in the day and told me that wasn’t a stain. :)
