I am wondering how these two new rules will impact D3 lax. Both rules involve replay. How many D3 schools have the ability to do video reviews.

Imagine a coach challenging if a shot was released before a shot clock violation. I doubt more than a handful of schools have the an ability to have a camera on the action, and a separate camera on the shot clock.

On the D-Fly and Dixie IL podcast, they mentioned one that may be more impactful for DIII. The new helmet rule. If an offensive player gets his helmet knocked off and there is no flag, the O player can be sent off and cannot come back on until the next stoppage in play. Can't just come back in. They want to enforce proper helmet wear. This could be a big deal if guys don't secure their helmets. Strap up boys!
