math on the goal

if u have a goalie the size of a circle which touches the ground , sides and top bar , the area to shoot at straight on would be radius squared time s Pi or 28.2 feet , minus the area of the goal or 36 feet = approx 8 feet of open space straight on , sounds like a lot huh ?
