for those not in area, any observations about fall scrimmages. Saw something that seemed to say Cabrini beat them in Ocean City. Notice a third assistant who was pretty good goalie at PennState

It's fall ball. I wouldn't make to much of a loss to Cabrini. That was a month or so ago at this point. Any observations would be moot IMO. I'm sure the Bullets will be a problem come springtime. I miss Mr. Stewart's takes and rapport on anything GBurg!

Wasn't there but from what I have heard, like most fall ball scrimmages, Gettysburg was giving the entire roster (which is huge, upwards of 50 guys) a lot of time in the scrimmage. Kudos to Cabrini for the effort they put in, they were dealt a terrible hand and I hope they have a great year. If the Bullets can improve their FO and goalie play they will be contending for the CC championship again. Dickinson is the team to beat in the CC. Can't wait for the spring!!

Surprised no one has mentioned this. It's a well deserved honor! I was lucky enough to have him as my RA freshman year at Hobart.

Wow!! Gettysburg SID must be on vacation. One would expect Gettysburg to at least put out some release about a man who put his heart and soul into the men's lacrosse program. SMH.

I’m sure there will be a press release out this week. From those who know a bit more than me; Hank’s “retirement” from Gettysburg was a bit of a “nudge” as I think both sides had grown a bit sour of each other. I do think if Hank had more support(behind the scenes) from the new administration in 2021 he would have coached a few more years.

For all Hank did to elevate the program, I think that is pretty sh!tty of the admin. What more do they want?

Administration turned over both at the top and the athletic department. Covid I’ve been told was pretty bad at Gettysburg in regards to how the school handled it. It definitely took a lot out of him. I also have been told Hank felt 2020, 2021,2022 were some of the most talented classes he had in his career. I think if other circumstances didn’t exist he would have retired after last season

Wow!! How flippin' timely..... This news came out on 11/27. Your SID and admin certainly seem indifferent, lazy or worse. Hank deserves better than this from Gettysburg. I am sure his former players feel that way.

Seriously dude? They put out their article 6 business days later…

Why are you so put off by this egregious (sarcasm) delay?

Why?? The man did more for your men's lacrosse program than anyone in the history of Gettysburg. It shows a lack of appreciation for decades of service. Btw, it was announced on Monday 11/27. Most SIDs manage to get new athletics news out 7 days a week.

I am not sure what's going on....why the hostility? The article came out a few days before his induction seems about right to me. The alumni are perfectly fine and were aware of his induction months ago and a few made the trip to the ceremony.

Do the bullets have any seniors from last season returning for 2024?

I wasn't sure if any of them took semesters off to preserve eligibility etc
