Coach Bates from Greensboro has reached out to other coaches that are scheduled to play Ferrum has said that Ferrum has cancelled their season.

I heard they only had 3 ‘23 recruits and were in jeopardy of canceling the season but no confirmations to speak of.

Just terrible

I just looked at their roster from last year. They had 20 players and 8 were seniors. If no seniors came back, and they only added 3 new players, they are at 15.

If true, sucks for the kids but good news overall. This program will never succeed. Same with a couple other ODAC programs that should make the same call.

Institutional support, isn't the greatest

The assistant coach listed on the website was just announced as an assistant at Mary Washington.

Why wouldn’t they be happy to see programs that stink, offer no value to the league, offer no value other schools, offer no value to other student-athletes, and clearly have no institutional support to succeed close down?

Bloated lacrosse does not mean “good for lacrosse.”

That Ferrum vs Life matchup looks like it could be an interesting one with some extra fuel added to it.

What about Averett with a 16 man roster?
