It's true. But I have no details. I'm not plugged into the current program. Several of my friends (lax alums) from back when I was in school have asked me and haven't been able to find out either.

I'm all for it if it means being even more battle-tested come playoff time. Teams will play in their "respective classes" come playoff time. Should be exciting, most teams start up on the 19th!

I agree. And not only that, we'll see many more competitive games in the regular season. This is good for the kids and the fans.

I spoke with a person at a St Patty's party whose son played at Northport. He told me that Coach Cerasi is still coaching, but due to increased family obligations, stepped aside from the HC position. A very highly regarded assistant has assumed the HC responsibilities.

Thanks! Yeah, Billy Cordts was in school with me. Great guy and I'm sure the kids love him.

The Manhasset @ CSH game this Friday should be very interestingas both teams graduated some very important players. CSH then plays South Side on Monday. Some good early season games.

Did Matt Im play in Goal? If he didn't that could be the reason it was closer than it should be.

I think Im is working back from an off-season nick, so probably still rounding into form. I'm surprised that 2025 Henry Griffith did not play.

LaxNumbers does not have the Pequa score yet. Likely will later tonight/early morning. Newsday scores are usually a little slow in the first 7-10 days of season.

Garden City 12 Farmingdale 1 Final
