I'd be surprised if they did against the schedule they have.

Should be an interesting one with South Side visiting Cold Spring Harbor today. Cyclones are strong all over the field esp. at x with Melkonian.

I know this went back and forth a couple times, so is Manhasset officially in B? I thought the ceiling was raised and they stayed in C this year

You may be right. It strikes me,though, that they and SWR would be unlikely to schedule a regular season game (as they have) if there was a good likelihood they’d meet for the LIC in C. If they are in C I still might give South Side the edge.

* I just looked it up 12/6/23 Revision has Boys Lacrosse C at 431-733, B at 734-1025. Manhasset is 746. G.C. is 810, South Side is 740.

Looks like South Side and Manhasset are both in B. Whichever team does not finish first will have to go through two tough opponents in the playoffs.

South Side takes down a Bauerless CSH 13-9.

I also thought it was 1025. If that's true some of the classifications on laxnumbers are wrong. For example F-M is back in A now in Section 3

Interesting game today. South Side beat Cold Spring Harbor 13-9. Refs threw a lot of laundry, mostly on CSH. When was the last time CSH stated a season 0-2? South Sides FOGO helped tilt the field in their favor. Some very good players on both squads. SS just made more plays work.

They need to expel 13 kids by the end of April :)

On a more serious note Class B is going to be a war…. When was the last time neither GC or Manhasset won a county title? I’m not predicting that but it’s certainly possible

2014 when GC and Set were both in B. Lynbrook won it. Prior to that 2002. CSH was missing their best player and don't have a true FOGO. SS is a good team but not sure they are GC good

Ah yes, I remember that Lynbrook team taking out Manhasset in the finals, they had a couple really good attackmen, defenseman and goalie. I forgot that was Class B.

last year South Side played GC very close and brought back a lot of players so I figured they should be close this year seeing as GC lost a few very good seniors. But I don’t know how good GC is and I was surprised how badly they beat Farmingdale

Use Laxnumbers, they are much better and by early the following morning, they have 95% of the previous night scores. A great resource!

GC looks strong but Mt. Sinai is not nearly as strong as they have been the past two years. Too early to judge.

Some scores from 3/27

Manhasset 10 Farmingdale 7 Final. Manhasset has a very strong defense and GK.

McDonogh 12 Chaminade 10 Final. McDonogh was up 9-3 at one point.

Pequa 10 Syosset 8 Final.

Port Vs South Side- Anybody know the final score?
