St Ants for sure is now playing a bigger schedule, I wouldn't say Cham is limited but it's not on the same scale. They don't compete for the same kid geographically but they could. If I'm a lacrosse player I would like to go to school with girls. I think it's been trending this way for a while now with a year here or there different. When they get to the next level though ND has been better than Duke...

Going to school with girls is absolutely the difference maker you nailed it. St Anthony's won't even play Manhasset or GC (Not sure they played much if it all, somebody correct me, I doubt they played more than twice) anymore. Manhasset-St Anthony's was a very competitive few games when they matched up.

You may be right. No offense intended to anyone but Chaminade is a real school that isn't ever going the prep school route, while St Anthony's has been trending that way for years.

This is not to say that St Anthony’s is the same as a true prep school, but it is certainly much easier for them to compile talent than it is for Chaminade.

That they're recruiting from a seemingly larger area without as much concern for academics or school fit.
