Manhasset 13 North Shore 12 OT Final!

Manhasset playing as good as anyone in NYS right now. Going to to be extremely tough on Sunday at 6PM against BBP, arguably a top 5 team in the nation at 17-0 on the year. Exciting stuff.

Joe
Welp. There go most of my predictions. Only Northport remains. Too bad about North Shore always fun to see a new comer get in on the party. Manhasset's trophy case is already busting at the seams.
Northport lost 9-8 in OT to Massapequa today
Got a Manhasset-BBP score? Thanks.

Really tough squad they got. State championship is theirs to lose!

Yup. Unbelievable number of D-1 commitments from such a small school in one senior class (eight).

The cancellation of the Gains for Brains is just a crying shame. Lots of great games got washed out, one being Summit (best team in Jersey this year) vs. BBP.

In the past, I thought they played the two semifinal games for each Class at the same time on those back to back fields at Cortland? Is it different now?

The reason I ask is that if they still do it the way they did in the past, we should have the other B and D results by now, shouldn’t we?

There are 2 games -- B & D in 2H now - Victor(S5) and Bronxville (S1) are comfortably up with 10 minutes or so to go

Victor 18-5 over Bethlehem
Bronxville 18-8 over Penn Yan

They advance to the finals tomorrow

Victor(S5) v Garden City (S8)
Skaneateles (S3) v Bronxville (S1)

Ithaca was all helmets when my D played against them a few years back. We just wrote it off as 'being Ithaca'.

Nigel,

What part of NY is Indian River? That's not the town name correct?

Known as the Indian River Warriors. Looks like another legacy school nickname that the self righteous, do-gooders in our overpaid state education department are putting the financial screws to.
