Typical and HipandKnee finish season with most Points (165). Typical and ohmi finish the season undefeated at 8-0. FCA finishes with next highest Points (126) and he finished 9th with a 4-4 record. UKLax finished with 122 and finished in 4th with a 6-2 record. Anything could happen on any given week and... Typical Lax Dad, ohmilax34, and HipandKneeDoc are clearly the cream of the crop and the hands-on favorites to win it all.

I expect a quarterfinal exit for us and it probably isn't close. Typical has the better team and weekly match-ups. Based on points alone, this is probably our worst playoff team ever. Still happy to squeeze into the playoffs.

Thankfully for you, Yale's playing Albany. With this said, HipandKnee will still be too much for you. Including Army's D possibly outperforming Yale's D when they face Navy. Though, Hip has lost so who knows...

When I finished the season with most points and 8-0 record I had a stinker in the quarterfinals and went out right away. Anything can happen! Pleased to yet again make the playoffs.. pretty sure I’ve only failed the once!

My biggest fear is Navy getting blown out by Army but hoping it’s a tight affair. My other fear is degnon being shackled by UMD D.

Struggling leaving out Tolker, Kuhl and Spanos for the quarters as any of them can have 3+ points but they are also capable of putting up stinkers!

Also side note, can Spanos be changed to Middy going forward please. He has ran it all year and the starting UMD attack don’t graduate next year so I don’t see that changing.

Looking at the fantasy rosters with points this season, I think I clearly have the most well-rounded roster in the league. Which gets you…precisely nothing. I was planning to send a message about me and Matnum being the only teams with no guys who scored 0 points this year, but Henry Caponiti got on the board in the last game of our season to put fca in that category. Well-rounded with too little firepower might mean that I’m optimizing for the wrong things in the draft, or that some of my guys are just waiting to really break out as upperclassmen. Tbd but I’ll be reevaluating the draft strategy a bit after another season outside the playoffs. (I do feel like I’ve made a lot of progress in my 3 years in the league, especially since I took over a bad roster and my first move was drafting Cole Herbert in the first round, only for him to be plagued by injuries and pushed into retirement by off-field stuff)

FWIW, if for no other reason, for scheduling reasons, I think we should consider replacing Towson (CAA) and Umass (A10) with a Patriot, Big East, B1G, or Ivy Team. Just so all our NCAA teams have more similar schedules. Currently, with some of our NCAA teams, this is hard to do.

Yup. As well as Marquette and... Let's look at our NCAA Team Spreadsheet (which shows each teams ranking since 2005) so we can make sure we're not being swayed by recency bias or whatever. Either way, a worthy discussion before 2024's season.
