Great player and nominee. However, the charade of including one D#3 player every year on this list is lip service for this division.....

Agreed on all points, including the charade. The last time I really remember this happening was Martha Griffin from Trinity being nominated in, I think, 2015. Does the Committee nominate a D3 player every year?

I believe they usually pick a returning national POY. Colson from Gettysburg in 2019, and Early from Middlebury in 2022 and 2023. Not sure about 2021 and 2022 after covid years. The WS player is a grad student and is returning. Though they could have chosen the Midd attacker, but she is only a junior.

The Ithaca draw just dominated the game and it seemed to me that WS started to get in their own heads and it steamrolled quickly.

Congrats to the Herons dominating both Gettysburg and Colby to punch their ticket to Salem. They are peaking at the right time, good luck this weekend…. Just 2 more, Go Herons!
