Yes, according to some, I am included in this list, Baltimore/Howard/AA county and surrounding are not the DMV. I would also not consider Richmond, Tidewater, or SW VA part of the DMV. I would however put this top 10 teams against the MIAA any day of the week.

Yeah - very weird what people consider DMV. The Washington Post Polls include Frederick, AA, and HoCo, in addition to PG & MoCo, but not Baltimore County or City.

Doesn't the "D" in DMV stand for "District" and in Washington, D.C.? In other words it is Washington DC and the surrounding suburbs of MD and VA.....
It is
not shorthand for DelMarVa.

Not sure how old you are, but my roots go back to the 60's and it wasn't Delaware - that was DelMarVa.

It was definitely DC in the 2000s when I was up in NW near Politics and Prose.
I think of Delmarva as the bank is Salisbury, MD run (at least a few years back) by Ed Thomas but that's specific to my world.
