Not ready to set my line up yet. We get one week to really make some decisions. Lots to learn from the games coming up this weekend:

For my team
Can Will Peden make a jump in points?
Is Jackson Eicher playing for Army? If so, A or M?

For others
What will the UNC offense look like?
What will the Duke offense look like?
What will the Rutgers offense look like?
Navy seems deep on offense. How do they mix in Arline?
Which transfers are playing (and scoring) for OSU?
What will the Syracuse offense look like? Reports have been good, but the proof will come during the games.

What's the high level protocol post weekly matchup? Do we submit visual evidence of their severed heads? What do we do with their families? Stuff like that.

1) Will Mark be in goal
2) Who and how well will the Fogo's do?
3) what will the close D look like w/Figueras out for the year?
4) Will Spallina and Thomson excel?
5) Does Hiltz pick it right up after the season ending injury
6) Did Army want us to finally travel to West Point? I'll miss that annual matchup - they always bring a physical tough game.

I'll be freezing my butt off on the walk up to the dome. Vermont is pretty decent, so I hope the Orange do well.

I think it'll be close. I'm not convinced by Petro, and won't be until the defense plays better. I think you're right that face offs may be an one of the keys. I imagine Mark will be an improvement in goal over last year. What do you think?

Mark didn't play in the fall scrimmages, so we'll see how good he is. No offense intended, but LIU is a not an ACC/BIG10, etc. program. I sure hope he performs well. Vt. won their conference and made NCAA trny. last year, so should get some idea how the Orange will do this year. ANYTHING will be an upgrade from last year's embarrassing season lol.

Defense: At a fall scrimmage the question was asked of one of the staff if anyone on the Cuse D understood slide packages. One former Cuse AA opined Cuse had not gotten the players for the defensive scheme they wanted to play for several years.
