I was looking at the roster and didnt see Treanor's name listed. Not sure how up to date it is....I knew that TC wasn't playing this summer. Didn't realise Treanor wasn't?

I'd have to guess her day job has to become the number one priority at some point.

Looking forward to the AU competition, struggle a little with that game with respect
to keeping wlax helmet and pad less though, but I do like it a lot.

us and so many commented on meaning heading ever closer/seemingly unstoppable whether
intended or not, or something to that effect. The AU league definitely pushes wlax closer to
the mlax game.

I agree its prime recruiting season. I was kind of suprised she played last year but then - this year she also had US duties. Shes just so good its hard to not see her play. They must still be updating rosters as I highly doubt Ohlmiller will be playing and I heard Geirsbach was picked up. I dont love the physical aspects of the game either.

AU is another league and style of play I can’t get my head around. Just like sixes, it feels like a back yard pick up game or something you’d play for fun at practice. There’s way too many rule changes IMO between this and the college game. I believe the college game is a much better and more fun to watch game with better rules. The biggest rule I can’t wrap my head around is the changing rosters every week. I think the women could take some tips from the mens as I believe the PLL has done well.

I think they change rosters because of all the monetary incentives so they don’t want to have one stacked team and three weaker teams because I guess in theory the stacked team would make a lot more money

Apuzzo is a week one captain. Technically, she won't be drafted. She will be drafting. Other captains are Kady Glynn, Britt Read and Caylee Waters I believe.

Initially it looks as if the ladies are playing a cleaner game roughness wise this year, we'll see if that stays the same as the season goes on. Hope it does. Unsurprisingly, very good lacrosse played by very good players...the best.
Apuzzo tossed a couple of really pretty assists. Putting passes right in the stick, making the goal the easy part.
Love Halle's stick...looking a little more fleet footed than usual.

In its inexorable March to being like the men’s game, gotta say I like the 10v10, 6v6 with no eight meter wlax game.
