Harvard/Yale is among the oldest rivalries in the country. Yale football has been playing Harvard since 1875. That’s a hounds tooth short of 150 years. The women’s lacrosse rivalry began exactly 100 years later in 1975.

Winning the Honda is kind of like winning the MVP for the Pro Bowl.

I inherited connecting names with popular songs from my parents. They would start singing/saying lyrics to songs from their day when my sister or I would inadvertently say a phrase or a girls name they knew a song for. Chuck Berry’s Nadine occurred to me whenever Nadine Stewart scored for the Wolverines in the olden days. And this Jimi Hendrix tune started coming to mind recently with JMU’s Isabella Peterson. The Woodstock version is superior but alas YT is being watched most vigilantly. This is a certainly adequate rendition.

You know what’s funny—thinking about the folks who read my SSB thots and won’t be able to unhear the frequent Unbaleeble’s during next years telecasts. Oh you can be sure of it.

It is SO much better that the Powder Blue Crew took the gold rather than the Chelonians. My goodness the Terpsters'd be beating their chests to beat the band and Tarzan. Be hearing 'em clear up to Portland Maine--or Portland Oregon for that matter. I suspect the pounding will be heard for real soon enough though. Cept for choking the game vs BC, they would have helped facilitate Maryland/North Carolina 3. Pesky Eagles. Robbed the Terps of another trip to the final.

You see this is the crap that make people really get irritated with you. The Honda award is a huge honor . Did you do any research into it? So - what - because North didn’t win this year you have to be condescending and belittle it. To demean the great year JO had is pretty sad .
