Here’s wishing the best of luck to Navy MLAX ‘26 and all of their other classmates on I-Day today. From the looks of the Navy MLAX Twitter, the group had some quality locks shorn by the barbers today.

Navy’s first ‘24 commit
https://twitter.com/tyxanders/status/15 ... 4H9X5el-dg
Hot start for @NavyMLax’s 2024 class, as the Mids picked up the program’s third Gregorek brother, Liam. A highly athletic and versatile weapon at midfield, he’s made a significant impact for the Wildcats and @team91lacrosse Wolfpack. Another early July decision for a Gregorek.

When Jack Lengyel (Marshall U football coach, We Are Marshall)
replaced Coppedge as AD in 1989, Tamulevich was hired as the Assistant Athletic Director in charge of scheduling and team support

Curious....was he known as Tecumseh around here? His posts became less and less over the past couple years and have not heard from him since Feb. 21'.

Never seen them for 2021 either, not even in their press releases: https://navysports.com/archives?season=2021&path=mlax

Interesting factoid on Navy's 2022 Team D in the Jackson Bonitz U-21 release
https://navysports.com/news/2022/8/8/me ... fa3c5c6224
Bonitz, who was named a 2022 All-American by the USILA, USA Lacrosse Magazine and Inside Lacrosse, helped spearhead an exceptionally young defensive unit as the lone returning starter among the entire defense (close defense, long-stick midfield, short-stick defensive midfield, goalkeeper) this past spring. He anchored a defensive unit that finished the year ranked #12 nationally and #2 in the Patriot League, holding opponents to 10.13 goals per game. Navy held 6 of its 15 opponents to single digits in the spring, earning victories in each of the six. Navy's defense held three-consecutive opponents to 6 or fewer goals (5 by Mercer, 6 by Hofstra, 6 by Manhattan), marking the first time the Mids have achieved that mark since holding six-straight foes to 5 or fewer goals in 2008. Bonitz led the team with 18 caused turnovers which ties for the 10th most in program history, while his 28-career takeaways is the 13th-best mark on the Mids' all-time leader board.
Bonitz is ...one of just two players on the team from the Patriot League (Cole Kirst, Lehigh).

Great seeing Jackson representing the Naval Academy on Team USA. Enjoyed watching him run the USA Flag on the field before the game against Canada.
Good to see the young Plebe playing in the UA games. Another fine moment for Navy Lacrosse !
Word from The Yard is that Coach Phipps is having an immediate impact recruiting ! Well done Coach !
