Maybe the best match-up of Sunday's games. Loyola has the talent to beat JMU, which I thought struggled a bit against a pretty valiant effort by UConn. Go Hounds!

Bittersweet win. D played 4 years with #12 of the dukes in HS. Great kid, great fam....first time they met in 5 years of college lax.

Great turn out by hound alumna today. I'm guessing around 15 former players came to watch the game at ridley..that is a good thing for the game....

I have always admired the strong alumni network at Loyola and think it’s a huge testament to the program itself

The Dukes played a step slow and couldn't even make simple passes in transition and had a bunch of uncaused turnovers. Great season that ended the way the season started, hurting themselves with mistakes. The draw reversals/calls were interesting to say the least, which also didn't help change momentum for JMU. Next year should be another banner year for JMU as they return most of their starters and have a solid core of young players ready to go.
Congrats to Loyola, talented and very well coached team.
