You’ll be lucky to reach two or three pages by season’s end, which is a good thing. Liberty League lacrosse is not that crazy…

Union and Cortland are set to scrimmage this Saturday. Should be a good one.

Just took a look at Unions roster and they brought back what looks like five 5th years who will arguably be their 5 best players. I think they should be a clear 2nd in the league behind RIT.

St Lawrence, Ithaca and Union all bring a lot of offense back this year. Does RIT have any 5th years?
Can Martin get Skid off the skids finally???

RIT bringing back 8-10 5th years and roughly a dozen seniors.
Engineering (usually half the roster) is a 5-year program with coop and there are plenty of grad programs available.

I for one am hoping Martin can get the Skidmore program moving in the right direction. MIT on Saturday I will let you know my thoughts afterwards.

The AD and administration has hurt that program. Saratoga should be an easy sell to recruits

It is a great school in a beautiful town. You are absolutely right.

MIT look's to bounce back having not played since March 2020. They have an AA transfer from stevens tech and they have performed well in their preseason scrimmages.

They are no slouch.

Been on a tour there with two kids. Both times, 6 years apart, it had a real strange vibe and we left early. Good school but you have to be a good fit. Also both times we visited Union right afterward and both times that was a great experience.

Maybe too great of a town?

Hopefully they can get that moving in the right direction.

As far as RIT goes, here is an in depth look from Inside Lacrosse which gives some answers on who is gone and who comes back:

Crazy note from this, apparently Walker Hare has re-enrolled at RIT but won't be playing this season

Crazy that they cannot recruit better downtown Saratoga is beautiful compared to Schenectady and Troy. It’s a shame.

Great time up there races start sometime in mid July and end on Labor Day. We go up every year and stay close to Skidmore as it is only a walk to downtown.

Great restaurants too, Saratoga is a great weekend visit and would be awesome to go to school there. The lax team went through a revolving door of coaches before the current coach.
