Last year, the Draft started on October 10th. My plan is to send an e-mail to the league tomorrow finding out who's back for the 2023 season, etc.
Today is Friday, October 1st. The Draft will start on Sunday, October 10th. There'll be one pick per day. So Lax1 has until 10/10 at midnight to make his pick. At 12:01 on 10/11 (or any time after Lax1 picks), Dfagan can pick. At 12:01 on 10/12 (or any time after Dfagan picks), NCLax can pick, etc. Because the NCAA rosters aren't 100% clear, before you make your pick, you don't need to drop all the players you plan to drop. You need to drop *one* player. i.e. When it is your pick, drop a player, pick up a player.

I already replied to the email, but I'll post here too. I'm in and excited for the season. Instead of looking at it as defending my title, I'm going into the season with an aggressive mindset. I won't get complacent and I will certainly take it one game (and draft pick) at a time. Except for when I have to make two draft picks in a row because I won the championship and I get the last pick of the first round and the first pick of the second round. FCA has made a living off of those picks, so I'm hoping to reload as well.

But are you? I mean, it was post-Covid season. I guess it's officially a title win but...

I started a 2023 Draft thread. More info coming within that 2023 thread...

However, due to compensatory picks, you wont be picking two in a row too often!

Good point! I didn't think about that.
