Only issues in Florida is why isn’t the ssc getting two bids. Lynn woulda rolled those guys lol put that mount olive team i watched last night in the ssc this year they might go .500

The reason why they did not and why Tampa got the 5 seed is pretty simple: not enough games played and what was played was in an isolated sandbox. If there were OOC games and number of games played roughly double in size you might have had that situation.

But just not enough justification to say Lynn earned a spot using the NCAA rules for selection.

BTW, ALL the SSC women’s teams were shut out of the tourney for the same reasons...

Agreed. SSC did their teams absolutely no favors by limiting the number of games and not allowing out of conference. Hurt both men’s and women’s teams.

There are some mystifying findings on this list. Not sure much research is put into this at all. No disrespect at all to any of the players on it but it sure seems it’s, let’s look at the best teams in the country and take their best players off of it. Seems to have turned into a team recognition over an individual recognition. There are tons of players out there that put up great numbers vs good completion, that are surrounded by less talent. For example, an attackman on a team that’s less talented will see a number one pole week in and week out. As opposed to say an LR, Wingate, Mercyhurst, Tampa etc have talent busting at the seems. Harder for teams to focus on one person. Has to be frustrating for some kids that just because they aren’t on a top team in a country they have zero chance of being rewarded. Seems like a lazy way to put a list together. Just an opinion.
