Good bill of health for my Twiggy in her 2nd physical with me since I rescued her. Doc wants her to cut back on vittels and go from 16 to 14#. We’ll have to ixnay on the tacos, pizza and ham - more kale and prunes. Staying close to dad while waiting for rabies shot and distemper nose jab.

good news for twiggy.
Great story for the cat lovers.
My son, who just moved to Plattsburg and is a cat owner, lover, was awaken this morning to a screeching kitten. Today was his day off, of course. He spent the entire morning from 7am through noon working on getting the 5 month old kitten down. Called the police, fire dept, local spca, even the power company...all gave him the Heisman. He stayed there for hours, just talking to the kitten, I encouraged him to to bring some food out and just keep talking. He then climbed up a bit and put food higher....the cat started working downward bet kept its distance.
Finally he went up the tree with his gloves and a long sleeve shirt, while the owners stayed underneath with a large pillow and blanket to catch the fall. He pulled cat off the tree with its nails firmed latched in the tree, shimmed down a bit further to where he need to hang and drop down to leave the tree and let the cat go into the blanket/pillow.
Cat safely back home with the neighbors. All are safe and sound.
Great story for the cat lovers.
