Not at all surprising but so ridiculous. This is a very easily addressed problem.

As far as Bowdoin goes, they made these rules regarding eligibility depending on students on or off campus status. They could have given players an opportunity to change their status, or made it so the off campus students could comply with whatever regulations on campus did. It’s a clear lack of will to do so.

Students all throughout New England are playing HS sports and club sports including women’s lacrosse. They play with some modifications and in masks but it’s been happening all year.

NESCAC usually follows what the Ivy's do. Would be surprised if they end up with a season, which is incredibly unfortunate.

Also curious about the 'Centennial conference (York, Gettysburg, F&M to name a few)...they've been very quiet about this season and haven't seen any schedules posted.

Some Centennial Conf teams have some games up but they look tentative. I don’t think the league has made a decision yet.

Middlebury is missing from the latest coaches poll. Other NESCACs are there though. Is that a sign they’re out for the season?

Middlebury only has 4 players on campus. They are unlikely to be able to field a team.

Word is Middlebury, Bowdoin, Amherst and Wesleyan may be out this season. Not certain though.

Did they have all their regulars? No Covid sit outs?

Had the chance to see #2 Tufts take on #6 Colby on Friday night. Great game with some really good talent!
