This seems overly optimistic. Yes, faceoffs with a healthier Raz and top recruit Petrakis should be better, but the defensive end of the field remains a big question mark. We lose a second team all Ivy close defender from an already vulnerable back line. And there are currently only 4 ssdm listed on the roster: Buczek, Bardwell, Ruff, Barclay. The latter two had essentially no playing time. I assume Duggan will end up there again and continue to improve. He and Bardwell could be a decent pair, but watching some of the short sticks in the final four, we have quite a way to go.

Clarke Petterson scored two goals and one assistant in the Redwoods' 11-9 victory over the Atlas on Sunday.

Ty Xanders reports that Marc Psyllos, 2020, Manhasset FO/M, has commiteed to Cornell. Lots of nice things about this-- should be a great duo with Petrakis. He is also more than a fogo. Our 2020 class is shaping up nicely-- it had been heavily Canadian-centric, and it's good to see a recruit from a traditional LI power, where other Ivies have recruited more strongly than us.

I've got a lonely campaign going to keep this thread on the first page.

John Lombardi is playing box for the Oakville Buzz. This is Oakville's first year fielding a Jr. A team. Henry Follows and 2020 top D recruit, Jack Follows, are also on the team. In their last game, both Lombardi and H. Follows had 9 points.

ok, I'll help. Incoming FOGO Angelo Petrakis won 15 out of 20 Faceoffs as Massapequa beat Fairport 10-6 on Saturday to win the NYS Class A championship. Very strong season for Petrakis, who should be in the mix for playing time right away.

US Lacrosse has started to announce HS All Americans, This is a rolling process and the formula for slots available makes this a much more selective honor in some geographies. In any event, Ben Reilly and Spencer Wirtheim have been selected in NY Sections 2 and 3 respectively, where slots are limited and the competition is good. I think both are candidates to be switched to midfield. We do have an opening at attack, but Coyle, Maloney, Lombardi (who I'd like to see there, but will probably be at midfield), and incoming Michael Long look to be the leading contenders for the available attack. Henry Follows may get time as an EMO specialist.

From the video Kelleher is a big, athletic kid who looks like the prototypical midfielder. In the clips it looked like a man playing among boys. He certainly seems like a promising prospect.

New recruit: 2020 M Ryan Sheehan from West Genny. Previously decommitted from Penn State. Recently selected for the UA Highlight underclassman team. Very nice addition to a very strong class.

Psyllos was named MVP of the Long Island Class B Championship game, winning 15 of 16 FOs. Plays midfield, scored a goal in Manhasset's NYS semi-final loss. Looks like a good get for Cornell.

Aiden Blake 2019 and Walker Wallace 2020 are US Lacrosse All Americans.

Angelo Petrakis is no longer on the U 19 tryout list. I don't know the explanation for that change.

He may be too old or could be hurt. It happens. I had a chance to see him this Spring. Good player.

He is scheduled to play in the UA All-American game next week, which may answer whether he is injured.
