This one was a pretty good game. I wouldn't have put any money on those retriever Dogs at the half. The Foxes came out running and looking quick and sharp. Some really nice passing going on, offensive unit was in sync and clicking. Change of keepers by UMBC turned out to be a good move. D clamped down at the same time and the O unit started burrying the bone in the net with their possessions. Foxes got blown out of the water, just couldn't swim with the retrievers. Kinda like this,

Couple of good and clean hits in this game. Retriever dog gets a perfect buddy pass at abt midfield on a clear and goes from moving forward to on his back in an instant from a jolting hit. BALL STAYED RIGHT IN THE STICK THOUGH and he was able to throw a one handed pass forward to his teammate while on his back...was a nice play. In the days of yore, when you had to cradle the ball to keep it in your stick, the D man would have been rewarded for a very good defensive play and the ball would have been going the other way. The wlaxers are using the right sticks, the men, not so much.

With the amount of talent UMBC has, they underperform. There were moments tonight where they seemed to be doing something right.
