Had to turn off the selection show....Carc asking Tambroni how did the offense become "so legit" and then the guy from the committee bumbled his way through explaining how Cornell and High Point got hosed was enough for me. Hopkins getting in at 8-7 tells me the system is broken. ND played like a top team thus season? Really?

Penn’s seeding seems a bit low to me.

8-7 with the #2 SOS. This doesn't bother me.

This has been the case all season. Not sure why.

Don’t like Penn and Yale potentially meeting yet again in round 2. And think Penn should have been a higher seed.

Hopkins and Notre Dame schedules are blueprints for how all the top programs should schedule - except I would recommend to Notre Dame scheduling 13 regular season games instead of 12.

The whole SOS is weak in lacrosse. Doesn't seem like a large enough sample size and all the strong schedules are against the same teams. Add in pre season ranking bias and the bed is almost already made. Just odd. Strong schedule but you are losing....and we complain about "participation" trophies. :D

So if Notre Dame added a loss at the end of their schedule to Penn State, they wouldn't have gotten in?

The other multi-bid conference teams were split until FF. Penn and Yale (if they win) face eachother in round two? I won't mention a conspiracy theory, but that smells a little fishy.

I thought Ivy would get a 3 and a 5 seed, maybe even 2 and 4, or 2 and 5. No beef with Duke at 2, great team and they waxed Penn early. UVA another great team, but beat an ND team to "win" ACC. Lots of teams beat ND this year. That Penn Yale game was epic, and the survivor should have been properly rewarded.

Who wants to see Penn-Yale again in the quarters? That should have been set up as a potential semi or even potential FInal. A shame one of them has to go so soon.

go 3 and 7.

presto.
everyone's not bothered with you as a tournament selection.

That's like saying, french people live in France. Yes, the stronger teams tend to be represented on the stronger schedules.
