Here is access to constantly updating numerical data related to Covid-19 worldwide. I provide this for those of us who like to use numbers to analyze trends and try to make meaningful projections. Worldmeters gets its' data from as accurate a sources as they can find, and don't seem to have a political bias, caring more about the accuracy of the figures they report than the political ramifications. I find the numbers therein more useful than the news in trying to figure out where we stand regarding this profound health crisis.
I posted this on the Ivy League D1 Lax thread, and thought it worth posting here.

I don't see what the argument is. Please explain it to me. Why did they not accept CDC help? What exactly could we have done that they couldn't?

So I had a chance to talk with wifey about her day. She claims the patients (parents) were much more attuned to what coronavirus is, more anxious, more concerned about it. This was a big change from previous weeks. I suspect this may have been a result of Trump's presentation last night. While it contained no real information for anyone paying attention these past weeks, those who have not been paying attention should have had their attention / awareness raised. Seems some did. This is a good thing.
Daughter in law's test results have not come back yet.

It is clear they intend to use their experience to help other countries. Great PR for them. This will likely turn out to be a win for them, if they have in fact begun to get their situation under control. Numbers if you believe them can be understood to support that position. They, like Trump won't be able to spin this. Either they have done it or they haven't.

there is basically nothing left to do but get laid. the next generation of boomers are just beginning to be conceived... the cycle of life...

A new virus presents itself. Lets call it Coronavirus. Lets hype it hard scare the sh*t out of them..
We can control all sporting events, schools, concerts, jobs, colleges, medical facilities. Whether or not the suckers can leave their homes. Deplete resources. Control all travel.
We can control every aspect of their life.
Globally!
All personal freedom eliminated overnight. See how easy that was.

We've known this kind of control can happen in the US for more than 150 years, if not since before the nation was founded (especially for non-white people). Usually these declarations are for the good of everyone, but it certainly can be manipulated for evil.
Georgia's Republican Governor is telling people to avoid going to church because of this virus. Is that because we could see deaths in the million+ range if it infects as many as the flu and he wants to prevent that? Or because he wants to control every aspect of Georgian's lives?
Would you get a rabies vaccine if you were bitten by a bat?

other than to see my free share of GE i have never touched it. all the kids i talk to are beside themselves tho... no idea what they are doing. looking for refunds on all the cash they lost on stonks
