my dad is 78. these guys have to be on something! they've gotta be juicing! letttt's gooooo!
I don’t post on the political threads often but 10 minutes in and I think a stump is better than both of these guys. It’s like listening to two 8th grade boys argue about....what I don’t know.

At the least they shoulp be able to turn off a microphone or two
Yep. The only promising thing? My social media feed is filled with people who can't believe that one of these two houseplants is going to run our country for the next four years.

America seems to have had enough. Too bad the National Dems and National R's think that running our country should be a joke.....

Partisans who support either of these two clowns are what is ruining our nation.

I don’t know who is winning.

But I know I’m not gonna watch debate #2 or #3.

What a waste.

Wow. Trump is pummeling Joe.
Wallace is turrible. Can he lead Biden any more?

That was nasty. Biden did not look good and couldnt stay on point. He wandered a lot and seemed completely foggy. Trump was waaay hotter than he needed to be. Just beat on Joe and Wallace nonstop.

Biden- “He’s a clown”
Trump- “47 years of ineffectual governing.”
Biden talks about Trump family and Trump goes for the jugular and reminds the world of Hunter Biden’s coke addiction and Russian mayor payday.

Hope poor Joe is being compensated well for his service to the DNC.

Wallace was not good. Need Joe Rogan for this.

Wolf said, without elaborating, that he does not think there will be a debate two and three between these two. Interesting.

i'm surprised joe didn't step to trump. something should've paid out there. joe almost got there with beau.

"here's the deal" (8? 9?) was the clear winner and was off the board.

biden made it thru at least relatively cleanly on cognitive, a mild surprise.

i don't think i learned much else other than these guys don't know how to debate or have much of a handle on facts or oratory. that we're effed i already knew.

Joe wasn’t as strong as I had hoped he would be, but Trump was a -10 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Trump came in way too hot and never really backed off. Way way too hot. Maybe it appealed to his base, but it appalled voters in the middle.

Joe didn’t do as good a job as I expected he would in fending off all of Trump’s BS.

Trump acted as though he was at a Trump rally, not in a national debate before the American people.

Axe says Trump may have ended his presidency tonight.

Republican talking heads are not happy with Trump’s performance.

And again, we say this every cycle, the moderator has to have a button to turn off the candidates’ mics.

A post from a friend:

If you watched the disaster on TV tonight, I IMPLORE YOU, make moves to get your state to support ranked choice voting. It’s our path of least resistance toward taking the power from the two parties. Please. Follow RepresentUs for more info.

We all see the utter disaster these two parties are.....and how much damage they have done the last 20 years of feigning tug of war, while the 1%ers cleaned us all out.......
