Daunte Wright warrant was for a missed court date. He has no charge or warrant for felony. The court date missed was for a misdemeanor. There is no evidence Wright was "fleeing" from that warrant.

He also had an air freshener hanging from his rear view mirror which is inexplicably illegal in the Gopher State. Must be a capital offense.

Terribly tragic. Pretty clear that the officer herself is horrified by her error.

The question, though, is why this young man was considered to be such a risk in the first place, and the "taser" shot fired at all.
