Baseball has sadly regressed to being more boring than golf. When it takes 2 minutes between each pitch for the batter to readjust everything on his body.

Dude golf sucks balls and I’ve somehow managed to play rounds on like 5/7 top ranked courses in the country for business. Probably picked up 80-82 of the 90 hole because I suck the huge balls when it comes to golf but at least in baseball folks run occasionally, have contact with other natural things in the world (ground or human being) and don’t drive carts and pay kids to carry their equipment around. (Except relief pitchers)

hmmm, "guys like Pete" and "Pete and others" sure as heck sounds like he was thinking of someone else more in particular than you...but, yes, you're rather predictable on this too...and yeah no one is really buying that you were "exercising restraint" rather than that the narrative just no longer had much value post election. That said, I also don't recall you rolling out "Portland" in response to Jan 6 like some did...but maybe? I'm happy to call that "restraint" that others didn't have...in reality, IMO, it was all a lot of BS to deflect from what was building, this white nationalist grossness from the underbelly of America and covered up by elites.

Maybe instead of calling them "dishonest" in how they characterize your past posts, you might actually think about what messages you sent and stop blaming others for how they're received. My issue with Trumpists is not that they find something better about having a Republican in the White House, some particular policy preferences they may have, (heck, I'd never voted for a Dem before for POTUS in over 40 years of voting!), but they actively excuse the most corrupt, incompetent Administration and POTUS, certainly of our lifetimes, in service to those preferences. And they refuse to understand how disastrous that choice is for any vestige of credibility for conservative policy as promulgated by the GOP. And they refuse to understand how alienating from the changing demography of America this will mean for the GOP.

No, Trump and Trumpism is not preferable to the alternative. Trumpism needs to be thoroughly put in the trash bin of history.
