Dithering.
If trying to help this limited audience of elitists better understand the great works our service people are doing on our behalf, is dithering, then so be it.

Happy Veteran's Day. Enjoy the parade. Be sure to boo our Commander in Chief.
Probably doesn't belong on this thread, however let me say that 'thank you' to our fellow posters who are veterans and those who have family members who are veterans. Your service and sacrifices are appreciated.

I am hoping that even the winking-at-Democrats-but-I-swear-I'm-not-one crowd here at Fanlax would not boo a sitting POTUS, even Trumpster. But I am not 100% sure. I'm from Florida...not far from Alabama, where the POTUS was received quite well. Seems that we are somewhat different from the Northeasterners here.

(btw, I not only wouldn't boo Obama, I thought he was a good POTUS! - so hold the partisanship return fire)

New Yorkers will probably show the same respect for the office that Trump has.

Donald Trump is a veteran? Dude is a draft dodger and proud of it. This day is for honoring those that served unless I missed something. The best to you and your family.

Heard this AM that with Alabama's home loss, Trump is being blamed in certain circles. Referred to as the curse of the bamboozle.

42% of Americans are politically independent. Is it so hard to believe that many of the posters here are actually independents and not Democrats? Just because a number of posters are to the left of you on some things (and right on many others) doesn't make them Democrats when they literally say they are not Democrats.

Avenatti was representing a porn star that Trump boned and paid off while his wife was pregnant. Avenatti didn’t have to far to fall with that kind of clientele and case.

So, state the Republicans you have voted for in the past and the ones you are comfortable voting for in the present. That should not be too hard if you are truly an 'independent'.

I am an actual Independent; liked Clinton and Obama (actually REALLY liked Obama), did not like George W Bush (at all; I consider him to be the worst POTUS ever). I'd vote for Joe Biden. I'd also vote for Nikki Haley, happily. I like Dan Crenshaw. Even Bernie is somewhat acceptable to me, not for his economic stances, but because I think he's honest. Trump gets my vote if his opponent is anyone other than Joe Biden, especially if it is Elizabeth Warren. I think Kamala Harris is part of the fetid stew of the DC apparatus causing harm to so many American families.

Are your Independent bona fides as strong? Just list it out. It can't be that hard.

I'm not looking for your voting slips...just an actual written post we can refer to while you post a steady stream of 100% pro-Democrat posts while claiming to be an 'Independent.' (we swear!).

If you are unwilling to do so, I'll take that as an admission that you aren't. This shouldn't be too hard, but your pushback is akin to seeing your hairy leg as the kimono rises a tad.

Just write in any Republican you are willing to vote for over a Democrat. Just one. I'll take any Governor or POTUS candidate. Also,. maybe say what Democrats currently running for POTUS you can not in any good conscience vote for; Kamala Harris to me is a no-brainer owing to her complete fundamental disregard of civil liberties.

TLD - thank you for the wishes much appreciated

Many people including most of the press though Avenatti was the second coming of Christ - knew it was going to fail for the reason you stated BUT he did create quite the noise in the interim. He even went to Iowa for a dress rehearsal;

I do not think anyone who did the time begrudges those that did. not - who cares I did not see Bill Clinton or Hillary doing time although they could have been JAG officers; GW to his credit flew F-4's in the Guard; Obama could have seen some action as there was some activity all around the globe during his youth - so what? BTW if you want to deride someone take the D Senator from CT who claims he was shot at in Vietnam - dude was on a cushy job and no where near combat - that should pi$$ you off. When born in the right circles things happen - where is that outrage?????????

TLD,
BTW if you want to instead have those that are voted on to fix the problems - fix the DACA issue - allot of those kids are doing the dirty work that a rich elitist kid won't do - the guy you hate terminated it or is trying to as the D's were focused on the impeachment - fix the problem. The votes are there.

I'd have been fine with Kasich beating Clinton, I voted for him in the Republican Primary in 2016.

I'll also say that most of my posts are anti-Republican talking point, not pro-Democrat, and especially so now that Trump is in office. Their elected officials just seem to screw up the most on topics I care about, so I like to hammer them. I've also got a bit of a libertarian streak on some issues and I'm pro-gun.

PB you seem to read a few novels between the lines of a lot of posters. For a supposed "independent" what Democratic policies do you like?

Not sure they really want the issue fixed. Let’s see if this congress proposes a bill.

You believe the impeachment clause should be eliminated from the constitution? Or should we amend the constitution to make the potential impeachment offenses more clear cut? You believe this President is deserving of constitutional change? Been fine since basically 1776 and you want it changed because people are mean to Trump?
