It isn't that hard to find stories unless you're just too lazy to do it.

This one is a few years old, and I'm not sure it answers the question, but not all two-jobbers do it out of economic necessity, it seems economic choice is a big factor. I do think the part about employers making many jobs part time to avoid the mandated extras is real, and that means those workers might have to work two jobs due to economic necessity, but the data isn't there to say one way or the other.

Then there is this little fact tucked into this second article, which is fairly recent.
Also, the higher the education level, the greater the likelihood of holding more than one job, including in professional and business services, finance, insurance or real-estate, Gimbel said.

No, I don't. Surely you understand that. It's why no one even TALKS about getting rid of FHA or Fannie or Freddie.

60% of loan originations last year were from some form or another of government program.

Picture this: what would happen to the value of your home if 30% of all home demand disappeared? That's what would happen if you got rid of these Federal home program. And that's why they'll never go away. The entire economy is built on homes. New construction. Bank loans. ReFi's. Using equity to buy dump. It's the ONLY asset the vast, vast majority of Americans hold.
So was the housing bubble -- all the bogus loans, underwater home owners, foreclosures & loss of equity.
Yup. Let me know when you party gets off their duffs and liquidates all Federal housing programs.

It's fine by me. Your party has turned from "small government" party to the "whatever lines my pockets is fine" party. Don't see that changing anytime soon. Witness the economic glee from Bandito and 6ft since spending-spree Trump took over.

It's painful watching poor unwoke Uncle Joe stumble & slur his words.
Makes you wonder if he'd last 4 years, let alone 8.
Trump's word salad might be limited, but he's not that far gone.
Had the (D)'s run Biden in 2016, he'd be campaigning now for his 2nd term.
I would have voted for him over Trump then, now ...??? depends on his running mate.

To me it looks like he is not going to be running against Trump based on his performance yesterday. It was pretty bad and what I saw was independent of Harris' attacks. May have just been an off night, but one more such performance and he is done for. I thought Bernie also did not do well, but not as poorly as Uncle Joe. It was clear the youngsters should be taken seriously, they ran circles around the oldsters. Harris should scare the beans out of the republicans. A black woman who could easily put the Obama coalition back together.

Saw a CNN focus group of 12-15 Iowa voters who watched the debate together. 9-10 said Harris was the big winner, a few said Mayor Pete and one said Biden won. The one who said Biden was the only AA voter in the focus group. An older gentleman. The same group apparently the night before had picked Warren as the big winner. When asked to compare Warren and Harris everyone picked Warren over Harris. Probably just name recognition at this time.

Kamala Harris is smart. I had her as a dark horse. Didn’t see the debates but going in Infigured she is one to watch out for. Very smart, very experienced and seems likeable. Time will tell. I would love to see her and debate Trump. She will eat him alive. She ain’t so nice.

Heels up Harris is a socialist who is the first of the candidates to endorse the horrid “Green Deal” which will cost American Taxpayers 93 Trillion dollars. She is a nasty whore who slept her way to the top. She is a Senator from California, a state so defunct, they promote drug addiction and homelessness, illegal immigration and amazingly high taxes, but ban plastic straws. She’s as corrupt as any Democrat, ahem, anti-American politician out there today. Trump would eat her alive. The only chance she has is to play the victim and race card. That’s all liberals can do, because their policies have never worked. They promote perpetual victimhood. Good luck with “Heels up Harris”. If that’s the best you lunatics have on the left, it’ll be another landslide for Trump. MAGA, KAG

Agree. I only caught a few minutes of the circus but it just happened to be when Harris unloaded on Joe. I thought Joe was a fool for throwing his hat in to begin with, he needs to give it up, he's just going to get torn apart. Hope he's smart enough to bow out, he'd do himself and his party a favor by doing so.
No question Harris is a force, she's an angry woman too. Must say, I love the way some of these people pick their race, one day they're black, the next day they're Latino (depends on the crowd, I guess). Maybe they should call themselves Blatinos?

Kamala's slimey hit job on poor old Uncle Joe was a classic example of how the new woke left abuses history to recast a career liberal as a racist.
This revisionist sham just goes back to the 1970's vice the 1860's. The stupid woke generation didn't live through what happened. They know just enough PC history to be easily manipulated.

In a 3 min video, this CNN guy*, who's covered Biden his entire career, lays it out, citing what Biden wrote in his 2007 book about the impact of mandatory Fed busing on his DE constituents. Biden called it a "liberal train wreck". He did not oppose voluntary busing, which is the program which benefited Harris. In the 70's, 90% of the population opposed Fed mandated busing, including 95% of the A-A population.
It's revealing to watch a (D) use this tactic on one of their own.
Before this, I thought Biden - Harris was the most likely (D) ticket to emerge.
Not sure they can fix this one.

Yep. What does that tell you? Outside of a handful of years out of the last 40 years, the Republican party has controlled Congress.

Rather than admit that your "small government Republican party" is based wholly on lying to you..... you double down, every single time, and hand me excuse after excuse as to why every chance your party gets, government spending explodes.

The great thing about this new place , and the water cooler of old...... is that I get to call you on your horses*it. Remember when Congressional Republicans, once again, expanded spending under Bush? And you told me that that was an "accident". "Whoops, we increased the size of the Federal government by 40% in 8 years".

And when I pointed out that Newt's "Contract with America" did the same thing----increased Federal spending by 30%, I got the same BS from you: that's a mistake. They didn't mean it. They HAD to spend that money.

And here you are again, telling me that "whoops, Trump and his R Congress accidentally spent $3 trillion more the Obama did."

 Right. What did he "try"? Take your time. Tell me what Trump did? Give me bills that cut spending. Massive cuts.

Well, outside of $2.7 Trillion in new spending in three new massive spending bills, not to mention the two massive $30 Billion+ handouts to farmers for doing nothing----oh yeah, Trump is trying to shrink government alright..

When do you finally catch on? What has to happen before you wake the firetruck up? Trump have to show up at you home, slap you in the face, and tell you "this spending is for my donors, and to keep the economy going?"

Wake up. You're not a kid anymore. This blindspot you have for little R's has long passed the point of ridiculousness. You IMMEDIATELY understand the Democrats are lying to you. But the instant a politician drops that R by their name? Out comes your excuses as to why they're making government bigger.

At what point to you understand you're being played? Lied to?

First step? Stop watching Hannity. You parrot his talking points like you have his show memorized. Turn it off, and think for yourself for five minutes. Hannity is getting paid to push Trump's agenda....and all that spending...through to viewers like you. Stop buying the buffalo bagels.
