Lafayette is a team that rarely puts a whole lot into
their lacrosse program. They’ve picked things up in
the past couple years, but its a question for them of
how do you keep up with the service academies, 20-25
recruits year after year, Loyola, Lehigh.

Drexel was able to play many newcomers. Carter Begley
is a Canadian out of top club Edge lacrosse, he scored a
nice goal, good stick, but the coaches didn’t give him
any iso’s which is what I was looking for. Ronnie Gunter
Jr. got good playing time, he is David Boston’s cousin or
some relation, definite football skills, can shift quickly
but needs work with the stick, was able to create shots
for himself. Sean Curcio and Zack Augustine are Air Force
transfers/decommits, with good stick skills and look like
they’re part of the regular rotation.

The Penn game looks to be off.
Instead, that ever travelling Robert Morris team at
Vidas on Saturday.
That is all.

Towson was the first school to offer Smith a scholarship, and he wanted to stay home. Smith had to call twice
after Nadelen accidently hung up the phone in excitement.

“I said something like, ‘Koby, I’ve been hoping and
waiting for this call for a year,’” Nadelen recalled.

The raw but talented defenseman that Nadelen hoped he’d have a chance to develop was headed to campus
in the spring of 2018, just a couple weeks removed
from NAPS.

This will be a great game.
I’m going with over under total goals at 38.

W respect to Laf, they weren’t any better prior to Loyola joining which was not that long ago, or even early Patriot League days prior to Navy who joined in 2004 from the Ae. Recalled the games not being close (Hobart is 8-0 lifetime vs Laf) but checked just from 2000-2004 the games were 15-3, 15-10, 13-2, 16-7, 18-7. Average of 15.5-6.

This was a period when Lehigh wasn’t very good either and Hobart or Bucknell was winning the league each year so they could’ve done what Lehigh did or even had a run like Colgate, who Hobart also dealt with back in that period about the same way. Now they’d have to strike lightning in a a bottle but it’s not like there wasn’t runway to improve within this millenia for the program. It’s crazy but they’ve had the least long term success of any program in the PL. even HC has had a few decent years bumping around .500 and an occasional nice win.

The Leopards had a decent lacrosse field, the problem
was, you weren’t going to convince a kid to come to
Lafayette with a solid but no better than some high school
lacrosse field, so they play out of the football stadium as
far as I know.
I think this coach is saying, he’s had a couple large classes
in a row, stick it out here and let’s see how far we can
take things.
Of course, in today’s game, other coaches
should be scouting Lafayette regularly, to try and pick off
the top talent through the transfer process.

We got this kid sort of from Lafayette. First committed to Air Force, then Laf before coach Raymond grabbed him

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.maxpre ... tm%3famp=1

Had some nicks throughout his career including only playing 1+ out of three games this year but still had a nice career

3 minutes in and no scoring yet 👎

21 is back for the Dutch, looks like he had been hurt
pretty bad, guess then they move Lynskey to midfield.
22 is back in goal.

Good weekend of CAA lacrosse,

Tigers big win ❗️❗️

Drexel back to scoring lots of goals
43 goals in 4 days,

Hofstra defense is looking much better with
Casey back in goal,

Dylan Beckwith isn’t quite looking 100%
hopefully he can pick it up
but Consoli had 18 saves
has had double digit saves every game.

It does not look like either Concannon for Hofstra or
Connelly for UMass will be back for that game,
McIntosh looked
just recovered, a large wrap on the leg.
