There is no such thing as unlimited access to AR-15 type weapons counselor. The purchase of such weapons is limited to the buyer passing a background check from a FFL dealer. Your an attorney for goodness sake you should have a basic understanding how the system works for someone who wants to purchase an AR 15 type weapon. FTR counselor, that background check goes through the FBI. If you pass the background check then you can purchase an AR 15 type weapon. If you can define how that equates to "unlimited access" I'm all ears waiting for your definition of "unlimited access" IMO, if you want or need condoms, be you male or female, open your wallet and buy them your goddamn self.Seacoaster(1) wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 3:32 pmUnlimited access to AR-15s, but no condoms. The no contribution factor comes into play because you have no answer. It was not a difficult question counselor. Define what you mean by "unlimited access" I don't know counselor, maybe going back to sleep is a better option than expecting a direct and honest answer from a lawyer??Seacoaster(1) wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 4:22 pmGreat post; a complete non-contribution. I guess I mean enough access to allow kids who are 18 and in recent memory threatened to kill their family and/or friends to have one, with unlimited rounds of ammunition.
I asked around but some Kindergartners in Newtown, Fourth Graders in Uvalde, shoppers in Buffalo and Boulder, movie goers in Aurora, students at Virginia Tech, worshipers in Pittsburgh and Savannah, high school kids in Florida and Colorado and Michigan, and do it yourselfers in El Paso couldn't be reached for comment.

Re: Conservative Ideology
I bet you didn't ask around about answers for the nightly carnage on the streets of Urban America night after night after night after night? What weapons are those again??? Are they legal or illegal? Your willing to move heaven and earth to stop people from getting their hands on AR 15 type weapons. I respect that. I only wish you had the same passion for getting a hold on stopping illegal gun violence. My bad, that is one of those problems our nation can deal with down the road. I wonder what the cumulative death toll is from crazy people with AR15s and cold blooded thugs with illegal weapons. Care to make a prediction which group kills more? I know which group gets all of the media headlines. There have been 41 homicides in Rochester NY this year so far. There have been well north of 200 people shot. That is isolated to a city of less than 200 thousand people. Tell me again where the real problem lies? AR 15s or illegal handguns? As a nation we want to deal with one and ignore the other. How sad is that??Seacoaster(1) wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 5:35 pm I guess I mean enough access to allow kids who are 18 and in recent memory threatened to kill their family and/or friends to have one, with unlimited rounds of ammunition.

Re: Conservative Ideology
Update for you counselor.. two Rochester police officers were ambushed and shot on Joseph Ave, one officer has died. You wanna bet me the assassin was using an illegal weapon? It's okay now, you can go back to your crusade about banning those AR 15 type weapons. The cold hard reality of murders being committed by criminals in possession of illegal weapons will be ongoing every night and day in every city in America. No need to fret about that is there counselor, we can address the issue of illegal weapons way, way down the road... right??? A question for you counselor, how come nobody in the FLP world wants to deal with this issue??? I already know the answer, i just want to see if you have the temerity to respond with an honest answer. I'm guessing, if you are true to form, your response will be that I have nothing of substance to add to the conversation. I hope you will prove me wrong. Can’t utilize condoms while optimizing the “come in baby, let me just stick the tip in and see how it feels” approach to citizens the way this specific cohort likes to operate.
See SCOTUS, fiscal policy etc.

No, that is not what i am saying. You ever heard of being able to walk and chew gum at the same time??? We can pass laws to prevent people from purchasing AR 15 type weapons. We can't take measures to stop the smuggling of illegal weapons into urban America because of why????????? It is not a difficult concept to understand FFG. IDK, maybe you have no problem with the ongoing slaughter taking place every night in urban America through the use of people in possession of illegal weapons??? I'm all for dealing with both scenarios, no problem with me on making it harder for people under 21 to purchase AR 15 type weapons. If extending those restrictions includes all people trying to buy these weapons, then it gets very dicey from a 2nd amendment standpoint. If you have a logical point of view as to why no local/state politicians are willing to address the infestation of illegal weapons in their cities... I'm all ears.Farfromgeneva wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 8:06 amSo then we should have no laws prohibiting anything because one law is violated? And…I love shootouts in streets. It’s the greatest! Love it when people are murdered it’s terrific! And surely the crime in Rochester is off the charts compared with my life since college in DC, NYC and Atlanta. No crime or murder ever committed in any of those cities for sure!
Laws don’t do anything so we shouldn’t have any is your point.
Or that enforcement of laws is weak. Well then we should jail every jaywalker of course.
Or what?
Explain your detailed understanding of the second amendment please. Is your position all guns all the time, zero restriction because you believe that’s what the second amendment states (explicitly or in your interpretation)?
Explain your clear proof that no politicians have tried to do anything about your local gun violence? All politicians. I need that laid out and demonstrated convincingly with proof of such an assertion.
Otherwise what you wrote is just trash.
