No. You'd insinuate this was her new clothing line. ..

More plausible at least. ;)

1. Sorry, PB, your (and lots of haters on the interwebs) suggestion was that Hill had Nazi sympathies...stupid on its face.

2. Seriously, this was entirely prurient 'outrage', never any actual hypocrisy...

3. You seem to have gone so far over into the hard right blogosphere that hating libs has become your religion. It's ugly.

4. Show me one or more of your past posts ripping any specific GOP male member...heck the current POTUS... for abusing their 'power dynamic' with women, you'll begin to have some credibility with me about actually caring about those who face coercion.

1. Uhhh, I never suggested Katie had Nazi sympathies; I wouldn't care if she carved Adolph Hitler's initials on her cheeks. I only care how we treat similar outrages even when proven false. Your continuing Kavanaugh persecution is a great example; every one of her accusers has been proven either to have lied, or is a bunny boiler, or is demented, all encouraged by known operatives of the Democratic Party, yet here you are still saying you 'think' he did something wrong. (btw, I share your disgust at his behavior under grilling...what he ought to have done is laughed at the inquisitors, all of whom knew he was being wrecklessly smeared)

Well, you sure came on strong about the Iron Cross...and it's sure as heck what the insinuation is on social media.

But no, you're drinking from the right wing blogosphere tap pretty hard if you think Kav's accusers aren't believed by most folks, most notably Ford.

2. Literally no one cares about her 'nudes', her bisexuality, or her Iron Cross. Nor does Katie. If Congressmen were shamed into retirement because of awful behavior, Bob Menendez would have resigned many moons ago. She resigned to escape a harsher glare of her life, and I suspect it has everything to do with the non-profit she ran and used to employ her husband and friends... If you want to cheat the charity game, be like Elijah Cummings and keep yourself out of running the charity; it gives you plausible deniability (oh I forgot, Elijah is a hero who got along with Joe Scarborough... )

Again, total baloney. The prurient interest, the 'slut shaming' is off the hook.

3. I don't hate 'libs'...my best two friends are the biggest Bernie fans in the universe. What I hate is liberal hypocrisy. There is a wide chasm between hating the person versus hating the actions. I am careful in life to recognize that. Folks here seem sensitive to having that hypocrisy pointed out time and again. It's the easiest game in town btw.

I have no idea who your friends are PB, I just know that you save your disdain for "liberal hypocrisy", never right wing hypocrisy.

4. I have previously stated here, not that I expect you to read every post of mine, that Trump's sleeping with Stormy (ie: cheating on his wife) plus saying what he did to Billy Bush nullify for me anything he does or has to say. Does that make me credible (for the moment)? Because my next comment is in a binary election, if you offer me Warren and Trump, I will choose Trump every day and Sunday. But between Biden and Trump, I will choose Biden every day plus Sunday. Many others are just like me...
Nope, you need to also remember that there are more than 16 accusers of actual assault by Trump.

But fine, when you vote for Biden, let us know.
How about Mayor Pete or how about Amy?
Let's stretch a bit and say how about Kamala or Corey?

I wouldn’t vote for Kamala Harris in a trillion years. Her disdain for civil liberties is without equal.

I’d absolutely vote for Klobuchar. I think she’s solid.

I ‘think’ I’d vote for Mayor Pete. I’m not sure I understand his full policy choices but I like his general vibe.

I’d vote for Booker. Good dude. He fails miserably in debate form but he’s a solid guy.

Re: Trump’s 16. My sure bet is half the accusations are baloney on their face. Half likely have at least some truth if not outright truth. One tell is when a rather homely woman comes to the surface on this issue, it’s fair to not believe her words. Trump has a look as we all know. And several of his accusers don’t exactly strike me as what Trump finds attractive. Sue me for being honest btw before you say ‘sexist’. You want honesty, I’m being honest. Anyone reading this knows exactly what I’m saying too.

ohh, I think one can be honestly sexist, so no problem there.

So, half you don't believe, perhaps because the women are "too homely" but the other half were assaulted???

8 assaults...and these are the ones who came forward...to tell of their P-word being grabbed by our current POTUS...and you aren't going to vote for Kamala??? Because she's not liberal enough??? Too much a law and order type, tramples on "civil liberties" too much?

You do realize you are comparing her 'disdain' for 'civil liberties' with Trump's disdain for the Constitution, right?
Binary choice.

McDonald’s CEO, Steve Easterbrook, has made himself a permanent take-out for putting the meat between the buns in a manner noncompliant with SOP with another female employee. He will have to make it on his last annual compensation of $15 million.

Mr Easterbrook is also on the board of directors at Catalyst, a nonprofit that looks to build workplaces that work for women. Wink, wink.

You're probably not a sexist, and I'm sure you're being honest with what you believe. You just have no clue about what you're talking about regarding sexual assault or even just normal sexual relations.

Yes, I have 'no clue'. I need to tell our HR staff that they are failing me!

The liberals/left-leaning here have a decidedly difficult time when we're being very frank and honest about topics they previously considered their own (as in, 'I refuse to consider alternative thoughts!').

If I point out that ski season will occur every year without fail, or that the Russia thing seems far-fetched, or that Miami real estate is on fire, or that several of Trump's accusers don't exactly look the part (for him), the reactions are almost always 'you're so dumb you can't see the data' or 'you are a (fill in the blank)-ist!!!'.

I have zero doubt that the liberals/left-leaning folks here similarly fell for the Rolling Stone/UVA hoax and the Duke lacrosse hoax and so forth; absolutely not a doubt in my mind. Know why? Because you want those stories to be true. Because you need those stories to be true to justify so much of your world framework. And if a guy like me came along and said slow your roll about UVA/Duke/etc, let's see about this story, it doesn't ring true to me, what would the post look like from them: you are a rape apologist. Very very predictable.

But that's okay, it helps make the day move along.

While romantic manager-employee relationships are not illegal, companies often introduce no-dating policies to avoid allegations of preferential treatment or lawsuits arising from unwanted advances or sexual harassment.

Intel, McDonald's, Best Buy, Hewlett Packard, Restoration Hardware. Just a few of the companies that have terminated their CEO's for similar behavior. But Katie Hill resigned because of 'revenge porn'...

Boy, it must be tough always being the smartest guy in the room and seeing things no one else does, Peter. You're really something special. I don't really know if I'm left leaning or not but maybe you can help out with that. The day the Duke boy's lawyer came on TV and gave us all his thoughts on the case I ordered a Duke Lacrosse hat on line and wore it pretty much every day after it arrived despite all the warnings I got (Blacks were going to beat me up for wearing it) from a whole lot of people. I didn't buy the whole story or Nancy Grace's BS.
The UVA Rolling Stone article; people around the WC were all over that BS as the whole story smelled of rotten fish to most, myself included.
So what am I, a lefty or a righty (I write left handed if that helps)?

You're joking, right?

On Laxpower, there was ONE poster (just one, not even one more) who claimed at the beginning it was a hoax, he spelled out why it was a hoax, and his gift for being a lonely voice was he got roasted for weeks on end by everyone; not one other poster backed his alternative view. I do not recall his name, but I read the forum. And yes, he was called a rape apologist. I have no doubt that many here would do the same if the next story came out. I did not go back and look at the Nicholas Sandman thread if there is one, but I'd be willing to bet many people here roasted that kid without knowing the backstory. Am I right?

And btw, I am not smart; I am cautious. I don't fall for too-perfect stories. Too many people need stories to be true, so they believe them without inspection, then defend them to death even when it's proved wrong (Kavanaugh's deal comes to mind). I'm first in line to concede errors in thinking and otherwise. Most people refuse to consider any alternative.

Your insistence on Katie Hill forgoing her spot in congress because of 'revenge porn' is one such example of being so committed to your story you can't begin to see an alternative view.

I hope I don't write like the above (correct me if I do)...again, the left or left-leaning here are very quick with personal insults. That's okay though.

You should care why Katie resigned because why she resigned is critical to understand #MeToo, and #MeToo is critical to provide a good world for women, girls, workplaces, and general country character.

I won't hammer this issue to death, again, but her resignation has absolutely zero to do with 'revenge porn'.

What are you talking about? UVA Rolling Stone was 4 or 5 years back.
