Quinn staying at UVA per Lars newsletter
@AreaLax: No, you did not miss it! Per Xanders, Khan made his decision on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

In my mind the best attackman available is Brian Minicus, very good player.AreaLax wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 9:04 amThanks. Lars also mentioned that two players have decided to leave, one being Russ Maher to Hopkins. The only other options would be Mikie Harmeyer or Gavin Tygh. Perhaps Tygh to UMD???
he's in the portal for '23.lorin wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 10:56 amIn my mind the best attackman available is Brian Minicus, very good player.AreaLax wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 9:04 amThanks. Might be heading where a top 5 need another FO guy.uvaumdlaxfam wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 4:36 pm With Blanchard off the board, FOGO transfer market is weak. UVA's Gavin Tygh is probably the best option left, as he has multiple years of eligibility as well.

Any hint of what team?Pork42 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 9:00 pmMight be heading where a top 5 need another FO guy.uvaumdlaxfam wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 4:36 pm With Blanchard off the board, FOGO transfer market is weak. Likely a reference to Maryland, who as of now only have 2-3 FOGOs max on the roster for next year (Wierman and a frosh—don't know the status of Trucksess) unless Calderone returns. No other top 5 team needs a faceoff guy that badly—UVA, UNC, Duke, GTown are set. Maybe Notre Dame could use one with Gallagher and Leonard both leaving? The options are growing thin.Jldlax wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 10:26 amAny hint of what team?Pork42 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 9:00 pmMight be heading where a top 5 need another FO guy.uvaumdlaxfam wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 4:36 pm With Blanchard off the board, FOGO transfer market is weak. If the Pietremala twins do end up going to Syracuse instead then there will be no MIAA commits to UNC in either the '21 and '22 high school classes. By 2023 there will be 4 MIAA players on the roster. Quite a big reduction in that particular pipeline considering there were 12 MIAA grads on the roster in 2013. Not necessarily a bad thing. There are plenty of other areas to get top players.HopFan16 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 7:18 pm The Calvert Hall --> UNC pipeline has quietly not been as strong lately. No CH kids in either of UNC's two incoming classes. Meanwhile Maryland, Virginia, Hopkins, Georgetown, Loyola, Navy, Cornell, now Duke have all grabbed. '20 Kelly switched from UNC to Maryland. Herbert's been the last guy I think? Wonder if it's just a coincidence, an inevitable slowdown, or...something else.
I believe that the relationship between UNC and coach Kelly soured, he’s a strong personality. I believe he made his opinion heard quite a bit and it resulted in his son being dropped, that’s why he “switched”.HopFan16 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 7:18 pm The Calvert Hall --> UNC pipeline has quietly not been as strong lately.
