In my view he is a QB type and VA had that position locked up 2x. Playing time competition. I thought about him snd probably should have but couldn't get past those two. Also he is a little undersized for me although that shoukdnt be an issue any more

I threw my share of rocks at opposing team buses…. What’s funny is my window was broken out at school 2 hours away. The next year when I get to college, one of the rock throwers turned out to be my hoop teammate and become one of my best friends!

A few years later, I had a college summer intern with a kid that I played against in high school. Turns out I hit him in stomach with a cheap elbow and he had to leave the game….we laughed about it while sharing a joint.

I watched Taft play on TV against McDonogh in the summer of 2020 and Mullen to me was the best player on the field. Better than Chris Kavanagh, J. Ricciardelli, Trader, MIllon, Levy, etc. He made really smart plays to create offense and was very efficient offensively. I made a mental note that I wanted to draft him for fantasy when that time came. I looked up who he was committed to and was disappointed to see it was UVA. I figured his road to playing time would be more difficult than it would've been if he were committed to, say, Penn. He was committed somewhere before UVA, but I forgot which school it was.

Mullen was on my draft board this year as a first round caliber talent, but when making my picks I thought some other players made more sense for me. Of course, he might decide to transfer and get playing time right away. Or, maybe in 2023 he's a starting attackman at UVA alongside Shellenberger and Cormier. I could see it happening.
