This doesn't square with me, and I keep pointing this out.

They started their investigation in summer 2018.

If the honest complaint is that they're "dragging their feet"...someone needs to explain why the F the ENTIRE thing wasn't done by EOY 2019. A year and a half is PLENTY of time to run a "hey, did you pay your taxes or not" audit.

These complains sound like complete BS to me. You can't whine about "dragging your feet"....while in the same breath not get your investigation done in 2 1/2 years BEFORE Biden took office.

It doesn't add up, sorry.

That G D Trump nominated US Attorney in charge of the DOJ investigation. Why didn't he just stay out of it?

Thankfully the Republican House wants to defund the IRS. First thing we do, let's kill all the whistleblowers!

I guess a fair and equitable flat tax rate rate is sorta like defunding the IRS. FTR only SOME whistleblowers need to be whacked. That depends on who or what your blowing the whistle about.

Yes they should. The FBI and DOJ people should also be their to testify under oath. Both sides can't be telling the truth so one side has to be lying.

I don't have an answer but I will throw this out. The transition from a trump DOJ to a Biden DOJ might have complicated the prosecution. If your saying the whistleblowers are lying then all that needs to be done is put all the actors in the play in front of the judicial committee and have everybody testify under oath.

Sure. But that's not my point: why did it take until the Biden's showed up in the first place?

I'm saying from what I'm reading? They're giving their OPINION on matters.

You cannot say that 2 1/2 years isn't anywhere close to enough time to finish a case, and indict....while at the time claim that the ONLY reason it took 5 years is corruption. That doesn't make one lick of logical sense.

Here's how it goes.

1. IRS calculates what's owed.
2. Citizen pays the correct amount
3. The claim is, Hunter paid NOTHING for two years..hence the investigation
4. There are two choices here: one, either someone missing a check, and Hunter has proof he paid lying around
5. Or two, Hunter has no such check stub, and he's on the hook for the full amount, plus fines, pay up sucker.

How can this POSSIBLY take 2 1/2 years of investigation? I'm sorry, but I'm not buying it.

But if that's the claim? Then STFU about the investigation taking longer into the Biden Admin.. That complaint makes NO SENSE.

You want to blame the IRS for dragging its feet? Great. Blame Trump's people....but of course, that's not how these stupid conspiracies work.

afan thinks that everyone in the fed govt answers directly to Trump.

The IRS whistleblowers are alleging that the FBI withheld access to the laptop even after the FBI had verified that it was Hunter's computer.

That's not it at all. And you can't run from the logic.

YOU and others are claiming that the Biden Admin. interfered with Hunter's investigation.

I'm simply pointing out that this is a flat out lie that distorts who was in office when Hunter's investigation began.

I ask again: if the game here is that Hunter was treated like everyone else, how the F did it take 2 1/2 years for the IRS to investigate a guy for not paying his taxes for two years? It just ain't that complicated, sorry.

Let me be clear so you get it: this case should NEVER have made it to the Biden Administration.

Back to your binary antics I see. ;) How you rationally think that Trump and his team were going to be able to go warp speed on anything is beyond me. They where in a defensive posture the entirety of his tenure and the last year had this pesky virus thing where people were not allowed to work where all the documents were stored.....how convenient. But I agree, we had the man, we just needed to find the crime. ;)

I also see It is taking you awhile to catch on....let me give you a hint. I'm not being binary. I'm being Unary, and partisans don't like that.

You use the excuse of Covid for Trump....but not for Biden? Odd, I seem to remember being in lockdown for part of Biden's tenure.

Both had to deal with Covid, and both can be used to excuse how long it took.

So now what?

What I've caught on to is that both you and OS LOVE conspiracy theories. If this Hunter thing had teeth? They would have indicted him LONG before the 2020 election.

 They can't put together an indictment in the 1 1/2 years before Covid hit? Yeah, right. THAT is the part I don't believe.

"Probably a lot" is not good enough.

Things were going well in the ME until Biden took office, diissed the Saudis & tried to revive the nuc deal with Iran.
Deal wasn't reported until April '22. Committee wasn't called for until June 22. So they had like 5 months. But great math including 21!!!

"Probably a lot" is way more than enough for you if it's someone you're told to hate.

Things were going pretty terribly in the ME under Trump with a lot of downs and some ups. Still going badly, with ups and downs. Have been going badly for centuries. Plenty of wins for Biden as well. We're not fighting one major quagmire anymore with minimal US military loss of life in the departure despite Trump's terrible negotiating skills.

Accurately reported "non-United States persons" . The Saudis were not the only foreign investors.

According to the Post, on a copy of Kushner's Form ADV, an SEC form to register investment ventures, Kushner also lists the client of the $2 billion in funds under "Pooled investment vehicles as clients" rather than under "Sovereign wealth funds and foreign official institutions."

Chad Mizelle, an adviser to Kushner's company, told the Post in a statement that this was the correct designation, while the SEC declined to comment.
