Maybe it helps the game, but how much is it helping our players, when every dodge works, and every defensive check results in turnovers -- that isn't going to happen when they get back here.

Selena Lasota definitely could have made the US team. She was the reason Canada beat the US.

You are changing the hypothetical. If we are going down that road, then you would have to have considered all of the American age eligible players who weren’t allowed to try out for the team due to US rules. Marie McCool would’ve been age eligible. The 2015 US team probably would’ve been completely different if age eligible players had been permitted to try out.

I think you are missing the point about Lasota. It was brought up in a prior post that some of the Canadian players would NOT have made the US team if they were "eligible." It was about overall talent. I'm pretty sure Ultra knows that Lasota was not eligible to tryout for the US.

good game. lot of skill on the usa squad. lot of hustle from both sides. canada had quite a fair amount of skilled play also. just not the same level.
usa was often doubling and pressuring out all over a large field, i'd have had canada turning the corner on the double and making them pay. ultimately just ended up with way too many empty possessions running sideways on the perimeter.

23-6 Final USA wins. Wrote about this earlier in this thread..but the talent gap will continue to get wider before it gets closer. Rapid growth and development in the US is even faster than previous years.

And this roster was a C level roster and not as strong as it could have been.
