Actually I think UNC's offense looks pretty good. their defense, especially 1:1 is just dreadful. Maybe not dreadful, but not what you would expect from a top 5 team.

Off to OT we go. Wow! Very exciting game. Great first game for both teams; excellent competition. In the full scheme of the season, it is really not a particularly important game. No downside for either team to lose.

Not bad at all, primarily because the players refrained from fouling. But this is the first time I've seen a game under the new rules so I have nothing to compare this game to. (Note to self: refresh yourself on these new rules.)

Thoughts on Carolina’s first game (loss) of the season . They def have a lot of offense . I’m sure levy is not happy they lost but will she be philosophical knowing she has a lot of injuries interesting Riley came out early in game and never went back in…

No #9 Emily Wills for Loyola? Their offense looked good, but is much more dynamic with her. A strong lefty feeder.

I disagree. Players did restrain themselves, but even so green cards still were way too prevalent. They ruin the fastest game on 2 feet snd slow it down way too much.

Well, as I said, I haven't seen any games under the new rules so I don't have other game experience to compare. I guess I am going off all of the comments/complaints I have heard from fall ball so I was expecting Hell on Earth. Didn't think the interruptions/delays were all that bad.

Edit: Looking at the box score, I see there were 7 green cards (5 on UNC, 2 on JMU). Watching live, it didn't seem that many. Don't know if this is considered to be a lot or not a lot of greens.

Clemson Lax stadium looks cool. Not surprisingly they are all over Davidson. I disliked Charlotte North as a player. Too much “look at me” for me. I’m sure that’s not fair but just how I perceive it. But I kinda like her as an announcer. Constantly talking. she adds a lot of knowledge for the listener. However, they need to lower her microphone. Her voice is very aggressive.

I’ll add, Clemson’s d is porous. Gonna have trouble against top offenses.

Wow. ACC network just cut away from the Clemson game and put on Wake basketball.

Pretty nice debut for Regan Bryne, the freshman had 6 goals, plays a nice game (Clemson).

Games are running north of almost 2.5 hours with the new green card rules. Get your popcorn out…
